Lakeside Hotel with abundant outdoor activities close by and some indoor amenities to unwind to :)

Convenient location near the lake, several trails and some nice local restaurants close by. Room was comfortable. Breakfast presented great variety. The classic sauna with a lake view and private flair was our highlight!

A couple of loud, partying guests who arrived in the hall at 2.30am with absolutely no regard to anyone nearby. Singing, screaming for several minutes and continueing the same show in the room afterwards. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but unfortunately a negative side event to an otherwies great weekend!

Miserable receptionists spoil the hotel. L

The breakfast and the lady who was serving is friendly.

Paid extra for a lake-view and got one in an old room which stunk of smoke with a complimentary burn hole in the old carpet. Had a good layer of dust. The dust wasn't surprising as the receptionist had to dig the key out of a separate box. Pan-faced receptionist. No smile, no welcome and asked to come back in 10 minutes at 6PM. I called to request a new room and was told that they would come up and see for themselves. Half an hour later I had to call again. She said "okay, I'll come up now". Said that she couldn't smell anything. I had to insist on a new room, she said that there were only double rooms, which if was the case, isn't a reason not to move someone. It was only when I said I'll have my money back, did I get moved. Suddenly, there was a single room available. No apologies, just attitude. The next morning another miserable face, I asked a question, just a very simple answer and turned away. When leaving I was faced with a €20 euro charge for my dog as I stayed in a room that wasn't used for dogs. She repeated this, so I know it wasn't a language issue. When I said I'd only stayed in an acceptable room that didn't smell of smoke which wasn't my fault. She changed it to all rooms. I asked why I wasn't charged the night. She just shrugged her shoulder. No smile, just a negative experience all round. I don't think I should have to stay in a smoky room because I have a dog. There was also a terrible smell in the reception area which I could smell in my second room. The stair carpet was filthy. Very small room.

Check in was good and fast. The location is nice and quiet.

The quality of the room was basic. For the money it should be of a higher level. Upon entering, we smelled a strong odour of smoke. Previous guests must have been smoking in this room. The breakfast was less than basic. Just a few choices of toppings (cheese, ham) and basic (black) coffee.

Exceptional

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room (we stayed in the family suite) was modern, spacious and the bunk beds were super fun for kids. There were even some nice new toys in the children's room so we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast buffet was tasty and included some vegan options , which was very thoughtful.

A great place to send a night or even several nights with great breakfast to start a joyful day

The breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Especially you can make juice by yourself. We really love it. More, the hotel is on the side of the lake so it’s very nice to have a morning walk after breakfast.

Reception closed too early so it took us some time to find the contact person and get the key.

we have dogs and the hotel is very accommodating and the walks are just superb

It was a shame the restaurant was closed on Sunday as we only stayed 1 night and it could have had a tea/coffee making facility.

Would come back for a nice relaxing stay :)

We stayed at room 125. This room is outside the corridor of the hotel. It has a nice balcony and comfortable bed. The restaurant didn't have any of the dishes we meant to eat for dinner (looked online at restaurants website, apparently not updated), but the food was very good. Breakfast was surprisingly very good as well.

The shower didn't have a door (and actually had a transparent window for a wall, so forget about privacy in the shower), which led to water on the floor. There was no air conditioning in the room, and although the evening was cool, tons of mosquitoes entered the room if you opened a window.
