Over Christmas: perfekt vacation, nature, the sea...

Almost a week stay between Christmas and New Year with my child. Extremely beautiful sea, almost no tourists, so perfekt to enjoy nature, the sea, the bora, the sun, do sports and enjoy the city. There were christmas markets, iceskating, museums... the hotel was wonderful, just have a first look out to the sea every morning from the balcony. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much, see you again!

Nice hotel with disappointing aspects. Some policy and equipment tweaks could make it excellent.

It's hard to quantify this hotel. There were things that were excellent, but it let itself down with a couple of things too. I gather that it is run as some kind of co-operative. The positives were the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The shutters worked well and the lighting was good. It's on a couple of bus routes on the main drag from the town centre (the 6 and the 36), and they are fairly frequent - journey time about 10 minutes. There's a small grocery shop fairly close and a fruit shop in the next block. There are also cafes, restaurants and a tobacconist (for bus tickets) nearby. The sea is just across the road (though no beach here) and the walk under the trees along the seaside is lovely. Though I was not enamoured of the noisy, fume-laden, congested town, it has some lovely churches and a castle from which you get wonderful views over the bay.

I was amazed that the hotel had no fridge for the use of residents. Well, apparently it does have a fridge, but only for medication. It's the first hotel I've ever found in Europe without a facility for guests to keep milk chilled, and so that is a big minus for me. Furthermore, as far as I recall there was no tea/coffee making facility in the room. I also had only 2 coathangers in my room, though more were supplied on request. There was no place to work comfortably with my laptop. The "breakfast" was in fact a 5 euro voucher for the cafe a few doors away. A cup of tea and a pasta, at this pleasant but expensive cafe, came to 5 euros and 80 cents, so I had to add the extra 80 cents. Still, I had a free cup of tea, so not all bad!

Barcola .. Trieste seaside

The hotel is front seaside, I spent a weekend in Autumn and the weather was not the best one, I can only guess how wonderful can be in Spring or summer time or even in cold season when the sky is clear :):) Breakfast was not included. but just next to the Hotel there is a very good place

The room was cold and the blanket a bit "hidden", so I did not find the first night. When I asked for it the day after I was said ok, but I did not find. The girl at the reception then came and showed me....Not a big issue, but why not explaining clearly ??? Some more coffee would have been appreciated

I do recommend!

The rooms very very freshly renovated and the whole building was just like new with minimal style. There were cookies, coffee, tea prepared in the rooms. And we can see the Adria just from our window. Parking is free.

Nice hotel

We stayed for 1 night, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The location is great - it is close to the beach, bus station is also nearby. Miramare castle is 1 hour walk.

I was passing through by bike and was very impressed by the hotel. Very friendly and helpful reception. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom is modern and leaves nothing to be desired. The location of the hotel is fantastic, as is the price-performance ratio. The sea/beach is just a few meters from the hotel, as are restaurants and breakfast options. My room faced the street, and the view of the sea was great. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well with the window open. The room was also equipped with air conditioning, although I didn’t need to use it. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of in this hotel. Absolutely recommendable. A big thank you to the whole team and especially to (Ms.) Sorry!

Worth more than 2 stars.

The hotel provides an excellent service for 2 star but the staff are 5 star. Always cheerful and helpful, keen to sort out any queries or problems. Rooms are newly refurbished and cleaned to a high standard. The location is excellent with a beautiful 3 mile seafront walk to Miramare castle which has luscious gardens and despite its popularity, plenty of peaceful and quiet places to admire the views. Bus routes everywhere from outside the hotel so no need for car hire or alternatively there is a ferry from Miramare to central Trieste. Baracola has a feeling of a lovely old fashioned seaside resort for people of all ages.

Kambarys mažas, todėl yra tinkamas tik trumpai vienos ar dviejų dienų nakvynei. Automobilį galima statytis tik ant gatvės. Rugsėjo mėnesio savaitgaliais, neįmanoma rasti vietos automobiliui arba tenka važinėti ratus, ieškant vietos.

Bardzo przytulny, niewielki hotelik, wspaniałe położony przy marinie, z widokiem na morze z okien pokoi. Miły i pomocny personel, bardzo czysto. Obok dużo miejsc gdzie można smacznie zjeść, z prawdziwą lokalną kuchnią. Na przeciwnej stronie ulicy - duży bezpłatny parking.

L'hotel non è vicino al centro città, ma la disponibilità di un parcheggio pubblico gratuito di fronte e la fermata dei mezzi pubblici nelle vicinanze, rendono la struttura comoda per brevi soggiorni. Apprezzato il coupon per usufruire gratuitamente della colazione presso un bar vicino all'hotel.

La stanza abbastanza piccola e il letto non era molto comodo.

Piccolo hotel molto confortevole, la camera era spaziosa e arredata in modo minimale con tutto l'occorrente, il riscaldamento/raffreddamento è autonomo e si più gestire dalla camera, questo è sicuramente un valore aggiunto. Bel bagno moderno con ampia doccia. Tutto molto pulito, grazie! Abbiamo fatto un check in rapido perché avevamo degli appuntamenti ma il ragazzo che ci ha accolti ha compreso la nostra necessità ed è stato molto sintetico pur non tralasciando le informazioni fondamentali. Il parcheggio si trova proprio di fronte all'hotel. Avevamo una camera al primo piano con vista sul piccolo porticciolo di Barcola e molto vicina alla reception, abbiamo temuto fosse rumorosa invece poi ci siamo accorti che un'ulteriore porta divide il disimpegno della camera dalla camera da letto e ci siamo riposati molto bene. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la posizione e ci siamo andati d'inverno. Proprio d'avanti all'hotel passa la strada principale, temo che d'estate il traffico possa essere fastidioso.

Preiswerte Unterkunft für Entdeckungsreise nach Triest

Kleines, aber sehr angenehmes Hotel an der Hauptstrasse. Ideal für den Besuch von Triest. Bushaltestelle nahe Hotel. Einige Restaurants in der Nähe, das Grifone direkt unter dem Haus ist zu empfehlen. Freie Parkplätze findet man leicht an der Hauptstrasse. Schöne lange Promenade dem Meer entlang mit zwei, drei Bars, um laue Abende und schöne Sonnenuntergänge zu geniessen. Zum Baden eher nicht geeignet, aber möglich.

Nagyon kedves személyzet, tiszta szoba, jó elhelyezkedés, jó ár-érték arány.

Nagyon kicsit volt a szoba, néhol nem is igazán lehetett elférni, pl a fürdőben. Az ágy (bár ez személyes vélemény) nagyon puha és nem túl kényelmes benne aludni, kemény matrac kevésbé lett volna kényelmetlen.

Sehr freundliches Personal; als wir nach dem Check-out einen Charger vergessen hatten, erhielten wir eine Nachricht, die uns darauf hinwies. Sehr ruhig, obwohl das Hotel an einer relativ stark befahrener Straße liegt. Sehr sauber und freundliches Gebäude und Zimmer. Gleich am Meer/Park. Gratis Parkplatz gleich gegenüber

Super Hotel am Meer und in einer größeren und historisch interessanten Stadt gelegen

Die Lage direkt am Meer, ich hatte Zimmer mit Meerblick, kostenfreier Parkplatz gegenüber vom Hotel, Stadtzentrum mit dem Bus gut erreichbar, direkt am Parkplatz werden Leihfahrräder angeboten, Triest ist eine sehr schöne interessante Stadt, landschaftlch reizvoll gelegen zwischen Bergen und Meer, in unmittelbarer Umgebung des Hotelsbesteht die Möglichkeit im Meer zu baden. Das ist zu empfehlen, das Wasser ist sauber und klar. Das Schloss Miramare ist nich weit entfernt. Das ist sehr interessant und zauberhaft direkt am Meer gelegen. Die historischen Gebäude in der Innenstadt sind ebenfalls sehr ansprechend . Die Damen an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlichund hilfsbereit.

Im Hotel bestand keine Möglichkeit zu frühstücken. An der Uferpromenade in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels gibt es mehrere Kioske, wo man Kaffee und Croissants bekommt, sowie andere kleine Snacks. Ausserdem ist im Hotelzimmer ein Wasserkocher,mit dem man sich selbst Kaffee oder Tee zubereiten kann. Im Hotel selbst befindet sich ein Restaurant wo man gut zu Abend essen kann.

Le porte delle camere nn insonorizzano abbastanza i rumori del corridoio. Le luci d'emergenza dentro la stanza (piccola) illuminano troppo x poter avere un sonno rigenerante.

Perfektní ubytování

Do hotelu jsme přijely na kole na jedno přenocování během našeho cyklovýletu. Vše proběhlo bez komplikací, pokoj byl menší, ale naprosto dostačující, zařízení pokoje velmi pěkné a čisté, na pokoji varná konvice, pár sušenek, čaj.. Možnost uschování kol byla za brankou, kde jsme si je zamknuly, speciální místnost na úschovu kol zde nebyla. Nemáme co vytknout, líbilo se nám zde.

NÆR SJØEN - INGEN PARKERING

Ifm biltur i nord Italia valgte jeg dette hotellet bl a basert på at de tilbyr gratis parkering. Det er FEIL - det finnes en offentlig parkeringsplass tvers over gaten, men hotellet har 0 plasser å tilby når denne plassen er full. Resepsjonisten skyldte på at BOOKING.COM opplyste feil og virket særdeles lite interessert i å løse problemet. Når en leser tidligere anmeldelser ser en fort at dette har vært situasjonen i flere måneder - jeg personlig tror det er gjort med overlegg for å tiltrekke seg gjester. Vedr selve hotellet så var rommet lite, mens badet hadde grei størrelse. Av fasiliteter tilbys AC, TV, vannkoker med kaffe, te og kjeks og WIFI. Alt var godt vedlikeholdt og rengjort. Som allerede nevnt virket resepsjonisten (ved ankomst) lite interessert / engasjert, mens resepsjonisten ved avreise virket mye mer hyggelig og serviceinnstilt. Det er ingen servering (frokost eller middag) på hotellet, men det er flere restauranter i nærområdet. Ellers har lokalområdet lite å tilby - en er følgelig avhengig av transport for å oppleve mer. Med unntak av feilaktig opplysninger rundt parkering gir hotellet god verdi for pengene for 1 natts opphold - jeg ville ikke benyttet dette stedet ved lengre opphold.

Voordelig hotel aan boulevard

Het hotel ligt nabij de boulevard, hier kun je naar de betonnen strandjes die daar zijn. Wij zagen helaas te laat dat er in de buurt van het hotel bedjes te huur waren. Het hotel heeft goede airco. Wij zaten op de eerste (waar ook de ingang en receptie zit) en daar is een terras waar je buiten kan zitten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en in de nabije omgeving zijn voldoende tentjes waar je kunt ontbijten en dineren. Trieste centrum is ca 10 min met de auto.

Zodra je het hotel binnemstapt krijg je de indruk dat je in een ziekenhuis bent. De traplift die je gelijk ziet als je binnenkomt versterkt dat gevoel. De receptie is bovenaan het trappenhuis op de eerste. De gangen en hal zijn klinisch en de ruimte bij de receptie oogt als een wachtkamer. Het ontbreekt aan sfeer. Ook de kamers zijn erg functioneel en geven een koude indruk. Met wat natuurlijke materialen en planten zou dit mogelijk te verbeteren zijn.

Tolles Hotel zu einen unschlagbaren Preis mit super Verkehrsanbindung.

Neu renovierte Zimmer. Auch ausreichen viel Platz. Bushaltestelle sowie Parkplatz direkt vorm Hotel. Es war ziemlich ruhig in der Nacht.

Die Matratzen waren leider sehr sehr weich.
