Nice stay, good value

Nice friendly staff, especially Emma, who went out of her way to chat and make our stay enjoyable.

The strip light on the head board of the bed. Hit your head on it as you sat up in bed with a cuppa.

Nice friendly staff, food was good but not a fan of the disabled room

Nice clean hotel and super friendly staff

Property was fine but didn’t like being put in a disabled room as I’m quite tall. So having to bend over to use some of facilities was a pain.

Parking fine nightmare

Room was ok

Being charged a parking fine a week after staying, despite entering the correct car reg details at reception when checking in. It is now 1 month after our stay, still trying to track down the refund. The parking fine was more than the room charge once admin fee was added, it won't happen again as I will not be staying here in future, I don't have time to spare chasing this refund. Unhappy!!

High recommend to stay here!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming anything we needed it was attended to straight away!. Breakfast was lovely also ☺️ pancake machine is a winner!. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will be definitely staying again ☺️

The smell of someone smoking cannabis along the corridor from us. However the manager dealt with it immediately.

Great hotel close to where I needed to go. Free parking and breakfast is included.

Not very child friendly, I did request for a cot in the room which was not placed. No fridge or microwave so unable to store or make babies milk or toddlers milk. Luckily I had family around.

Lovely stay just noisy from traffic

Staff were very friendly kind and helpful.

Bed was a double but small, our room was on the side to the m6 roundabout and you could hear the traffic. Not very sound proof. Not many disabled spots had to park right at the back of the hotel car park with husband in a wheelchair.

Great location and price was good. Free parking which is an added bonus. Room was spacious and had ironing board and iron.

Not baby friendly as didn't have any microwave so was unable to warm milk or even sterilise bottles. Luckily I had enough bottles. No fridge in room to keep baby milk.

Brilliant break

The hotel has plenty of parking and the staff at reception were extremely helpful. There is a lift to all floors and though the room is basic, there is plenty of space and it was very clean. The bar and restaurant were reasonably priced and the meals from the menu were excellent. There is also a pancake machine at breakfast that makes fresh pancakes at the push of a button.

The mattress in our room was too firm (for me personally) and the breakfast was a little disappointing. The only egg option was scrambled using powdered egg so it had a strange jelly consistency which was extremely unpleasant.

Lovely weekend with family

The rooms were very quiet and the staff especially Sandra and Emma were very friendly and welcoming

There were issues with the coffee machines and ice machine so hit and miss weather you got any and the evening food was terrible. The fish and chips were awful and the burger was too, we went out to eat the second night

A Great Experience

The reception by staff was great! They were professional but yet ensure we were comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with a variety of choices to make. The morning staff at the reception were also helpful after checkout, took care of my luggage while I had breakfast. At breakfast, the staff were fabulous, clearing the tables so the customers have a relaxing experience, free of dinning clutter. This was not only peculiar to me. She offered similar help to others who did not asked. That was exceptional for me. We realy enjoyed our short stay. Please pass on my gratitude to all the staff for a job well done. However, there is always room for improvement. I will share my experience with friends and family.

This is to the managerial staff. The experience would be a 100 per cent if the tiolet is seperate from the shower room for convinience of two in a room and one needs to ease his or herself while the bathroom is in use.

Nice sized room. Nice breakfast- was surpised it included pancakes! Nice friendly staff and free fruit was available at the desk which is always nice.

I couldn't get the apps on the TV to work. Wanted to watch Disney Plus or Netflix but they couldn't connect. Not a dealbreaker though.
