Ashburn Hotel

Spacious room, best part was good air conditioning as its summer. Also good location to train station so it was easy to get around.

Facilities are a bit outdated, rooms not as clean as I would like. There was some periodic noise all throughout the night as well.

Excellent Location - Gloucester Road Tube 3 minute walk

We have stayed here a number of times over the past few years. We have always found it to be a pleasant experience. The hotel is quiet, no night time door noises, our last stay was the first room from the lift. Didn’t even notice any noise. Breakfast is in the basement, it is a pleasant environment. Tge breakfast was comprehensive, full English if that’s your thing ( and very good) to a continental type breakfast. Staff on all occasions have been courteous and helpful. Will stay there again, Gloucester Road tube station a 5 minutes walk, and tge Albert Hall and museums all walkable from the hotel. The hotel itself, is a fine character building of the area, not glass or steel. Room was comfortable l, air con worked and was controllable and pleasant. No issues at all. Will stay again.

Breakfast is a bit hit and miss but the method of actually having to queue at reception for a ticket is akin to going to a foodbank! Then even when you issue your ticket to the waitress they forget to actually to serve you one and you wait and wait and wait and nothing happens and this costs you £21!!!! Not worth it.

Dirty pillows with no pillow protectors, cheap bedding, grubby carpets it needs some tlc for the price they charge.
