Disappointing place

Good location

Both the hotel and the room were very cramped and stuffy the bathroom door kept breaking, the walls were very thin, we could hear all the noises from the neighbors.

Tour of Bretagne: Vannes Home Base for 2 nights

We had a clean, good-sized room with 2 twin beds, a clean bathroom and enjoyed a delicious complimentary continental breakfast. There was a small fridge that kept our water cool and there was a fan as well. The location was good, we walked a few minutes into the Historic City Centre.

Unfortunately, we were there during a heatwave and there was no AC, but the hotel didn't advertise that they had AC. We ended up making the best of the situation, opened the windows and used the provided fan until it cooled off overnight. Again, not a complaint towards the hotel.

Convenient, well-situated and welcoming!

This hotel is very clean, pleasant and well organized. We were warmly welcomed by Frédéric who provided a lot of helpful information. Our room was simple and small, but had everything we needed. The location is excellent - a 10 min. walk to the centre historique. The ample breakfast was delicious and featured homemade yogurt and lots of local delicacies!

Bedside lighting could be improved.

Comfort when most needed and I was looked after with care and aplomb.

Breakfast was fairly limited but reasonable for the price. Room was simple but clean. Staff happy to hold luggage before and after check-in. Room actually ready earlier than expected.

Comfortable and near the train station. But what I liked best was the exquisite experience of the breakfast: starting with the painted plates and hand embroidered cotton napkins, continued with the delucate vessesls for butter and jam and the fact that many products were home-made. Felt like vacation-spoiled.

Quite tired and old furniture and bed.Our room looked nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. No shower curtain and shower on the long wall of a bath tub made it impossible to shower without water splashing everywhere.

It was as described and we got what we paid for. It was in a decent location q0 mins from the city centre and close to the railway station.

The WiFi didn't work during our stay. The bath had obviously been damaged before and very crudely repaired.

I was arriving after 8 by train and so I knew that reception would be closed. Unfortunately, I was informed that I would received my room information by SMS; it then didn't arrive during the day I was due to arrive and I had to make various attempts to contact the hotel; in the end I didn't receive the message until after 7 pm. That was extremely stressful - my phone was running out of battery and I could not understand why (i) the room information could not be sent by some other message; or (ii) the room information could not be sent earlier. The website should have warned about all of this; if I had know, I would have chosen a different hotel. Having arrived, I had room 100. It was extremely from about 6 a.m., I think with people using the stairs or having breakfast, so I slept very badly. This is a shame. I am sure that other rooms are quieter, and I am sure that I would have had a completely different experience if I had arrived earlier.

Je n'avais pas prévu d'être à l'hôtel. Donc, j'avais aucun change , ni de trousse de toilette. J'avais demandé un gant de toilette et on m'avait répondu : oui. Mais, je suis arrivée à la fermeture de l'accueil et quand je ne suis rendu compte, c'était trop tard. Juste une petite serviette de toilette et produit a disposition. Je n'ai pas pu prendre de douche On entend très bien les gens dans les chambres voisines.
