The room was very nice, and the bed was very comfortable, the bar area was good, and the staff were very friendly.
My only minor issue was that breakfast was from 0900 on Saturday, and I needed to be elsewhere by 0945. It was good that I could have cereals straightaway, but in the end, the tea came about 15 minutes later, and just a few slices of toast came by about 0925, bearing in mind I was the first one down there in the morning. Some places which have a toast machine at least mean for someone like me who doesnt eat a full english, then I could have finished a bit quicker.

A cosy, nice room in a classical English inn. Ours was on the third floor, quiet, facing Mermaid Street and the hill. The staff were very welcoming. The room has a good bathroom, a wonderful bed and plenty of refreshments for tea.

Location was good. Staff were friendly. Partner slept well. Reasonable value for money considering where you are.
No water in the room and check in process was not clear. Room was very hot (it was not a hot day) Bathroom laid out in a strange way and the door opened in severely restricting the space. While staff were friendly they were not very attentive.
