    This has been on my bucket list for years to stay here - and WOW what a beautiful historic place ! On arrival we were greeted by staff and shown to our room ! Beautiful four poster bed ! And furniture to match the room . We had reserved a table for dinner , food fantastic ! And staff very professional, polite and attentive Sam , Steven and young lady who served us , highly recommended and service 10/10. Big shout out to staff member Charlie who went above and beyond also ! Great personality and helpful ! ( as all the staff are also) . We went out and explored the cobbled roads and shops and buildings in beautiful Rye . Breakfast at the Mermaid Inn was also great ! Lots of choices , good selection on offer and cooked to perfection ! We will definitely be returning and choosing another fabulous room to stay in ! Sadly no Ghosts seen - maybe next time ?! Felt very welcomed and super memories made - another tick off my bucket list and loved the Mermaid Inn and its history. Tina & Nick x

    We had a lovely stay in a classic four poster bed room for a little getaway from London. Great location, great pub set up inside, great breakfast and well worth a visit!

    Lovely everything except maybe could have a shower head attached to the bath would be nice. But overall a great place to stay. Breakfast was very good too.
