Akritas Residences

The sea view is absolutely breathtaking!

There were quite a few residences on the property but they have different entrances so it was like being on our own. We enjoyed the pool and the fact that we were able to take our pets.

We did not have water for quite a few hours but that wasn’t the property’s fault. There was a problem with the main water supply in the area. If I were to improve anything, I would add a water tank because the area is known for water stoppages in summer.

Location was very good and the local hosts/contact very responsive

We booked an apartment and a studio. In the apartment a new toilet seat was needed when we arrived and was replaced that same day, however it was a very cheap seat and kept coming apart so I had to keep re-fixing it every other day. In the studio the aircon unit dripped water when in use and the bathroom basin also started to leak from underneath, and whilst the kitchen hot water was hot for some reason that was not the case in the bathroom. All manageable but did detract. On the last full day and morning of the day we left building work on another holiday apartment was taking place straight outside our apartment and studio with a day of almost continuous drilling. We had to change our plans and go out that day, as it was also making it difficult for the baby we had with us to sleep in the afternoon. The builders were pleasant but they clearly had a job to do and were doing it.
