The Hotel is a bit far from the station, and one needs to walk till the property as there is no bus service as well. But otherwise, the royakan is amazing, specifically for the tourists. The do have private onsen as well, which for non-Japanese tourist, is a plus if they are shy in accessing public onsen. That was the highlight for us.
Other than that, throughout the two days we saw Fuji-san from our room and it was spectacular, specifically at the night.
There is also a supermarket few meters away from the property that is opened 24/7. If you want to eat vegan, then you will have a bit of challenge but otherwise there are plenty of restaurants.
Overall, a great choice. Will always recommend it to others.
