Great place to relax from the city, cosy and authentic

The riad is located in an excellent spot, right in the heart of the medina, just a short distance from the alley with markets, local restaurants, and shops. The city center is about a 10-minute walk away. We really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and the beautiful rooms. The manager of the riad, Elhoussien, is very helpful, kind, and pleasant—always happy to assist you.

We stayed at a different Riad in Marrakech for 3 nights before staying in the mountains then only stayed at this riad for one night before our flight home but honestly now wish we’d stayed at Riad Papadou the entire stay. It has a really beautiful interior, courtyard and rooftop and just felt so down to earth. The owner is super friendly and helpful. She greeted us with tea and pastries, made sure we had everything we needed and even walked us to the taxi she’d booked us to go to the airport. The location of the hostel is also great as it’s central but not too close to the hectic souks.
