Riad Dwiriyat My Teib

The riad and our host Maria were absolutely outstanding. Besides the surroundings and our beautiful room, the great breakfast, etc, we especially appreciated the easy location. The majority of riads are unfortunately not accessible by taxi nor close to excursion meeting points (average walking time at least 10-15 min between taxi dropoff and riad, same for excursion pickup points). On the other hand, Maria's Dwiriyat My Teib was just about 40 metres from our taxi dropoff and only 4 min walking to the standard excursion pickup point in the area - an absolute bonus, especially as we had booked quite a few excursions. We highly recommend this riad!

We enjoyed the location slightly further away from Jemaa El Fnaa - although it was still in a tourist area, there were interesting parts of the nearby souk that served local people too, which felt more authentic. The riad itself is clean and pretty and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. There was a huge breakfast. It was very peaceful.

The hosts were very nice and helpful! Very traditional and authentic Riad, lots of space in the room.

The property is worn down, shower head broken, TV wouldn’t come on, upstairs two bedroom room, front room faced street at night and was very loud! It was not super clean and breakfast was just ok. Also was located outside the main part of Medina so lots of cars and scooters walking back.

Service was good and friendly.

Quite warm with little air circulation on the bottom floor and not as private as I would have liked.
