Welcome to Casa Tranquilino, located in the Mayan Riviera. This is an amazing, new 2 story Villa located in the heart of Playacar. Wheelchair accessible with elevator. It's nestled off the main strip in a quite, private, gated community of 7 Villas. Less then one minute walk to a spectacular beach with white, soft, sand, unforgettable crystal clear aqua waters with the view of Cozumel across the beautiful Caribbean Ocean.
This property offers 4 bedrooms: 2 queen beds, 2 king beds, and 1 double bed / massage room. Sleeps 10 with comfortable memory foam mattresses. All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and flat screen tv with remote control. Has 5 bathrooms, three with jet sprays, rain shower, and hand spray shower handle with sitting bench, and 2 vanity sinks in each.
Casa Tranquilino offers quests 2 balconies for sitting, relaxing, or reading enjoyment. The Villa compliments you with an inviting, tranquil open living space. Spectacular, spacious, gourmet kitchen fully equipped for onsite cooking and has 2 large granite counters sits 9. Separate dining table sits 6 and has 3 large glass sliders inviting the outdoors in.
Welcome to a private, serene, backyard getaway, with a built in pool, 6 swim up stoles, complete outdoor kitchen, shaded palapa with 5 swings and a built in bench. Enjoy an outdoor shower, bathroom, lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun or sun bathing. Complete access to bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, ice chests, snorkel equipment and life vests for additional fees.
Guests have access to the community pool, tennis court, and The Reef Club Hotel. Maid service available daily and upon request breakfast and dinner could be prepared { extra fees }. Upon request, a private masseuse could render a very affordable, remarkable, massage per guest in the comfort of home.

It's about 1 mile walking distance from the famous 5th Ave. {Quinta Avenida} and ferry to Cozumel with many surrounding restaurants to suite your palate: Mexican, Italian, German, Brazilian, Indian and Asian. We are in close proximity to Excaret, Explore, Paamul, Akumal, Tulum and amazing neighboring Cenotes. Just about 45 min. from Cancun Airport.

This home is beautiful, well kept and maintained, and located within walking distance to the beach (5 minutes) and Playa del Carmen. The owner, Gary, is extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the area (many terrific recommendations), and willing to assist in any way he can to make your stay enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed Casa Tranquilino (appropriately named) and will undoubtedly return. Five stars, unconditionally recommended

Our family of 9 (2 adults and 7 'kids' ages 17-27) spent an amazing week at this house! The home is every bit as beautiful as the photos display, with many gorgeous extra touches sprinkled throughout. We had plenty of room to relax and spread out when we wanted to. We also enjoyed gathering together for our nightly pre-dinner happy hours on the swings at our private outdoor poolside palapa bar with a TV. The kitchen afforded plenty of space for us to all enjoy a meal together, as well!
Location: Safe and clean neighborhood. End of a cul-de-sac. About a mile walk (can walk on beach or sidewalk) to ALL the action of shops and restaurants on Fifth Avenue. You could also walk a half mile the other direction for a cute little shopping area. It was about a 5 minute walk through the neighborhood to get to the beach at the ocean :) Communal tennis courts and swimming pool were a few lots away from our front door. I cannot underscore enough how safe we felt walking around or going for a solo jog. Playacar is a comfortable upscale neighborhood.
House: Everything we could possibly have needed, was provided. Beds were comfortable. House was kept very clean and housekeeper appeared daily. Washer and dryer were provided! Air conditioning worked perfectly. Hot showers never ran out of hot water (for 9 of us always showering in a narrow timeframe! ). Towels were of superior quality. Fixtures throughout the home were upscale. Showers were amazing with multiple heads spraying water.
What do they provide: Pretty much anything you would need to make your stay more comfortable. The most comfortable lawn chairs (like backpacks), so easy to wear on your walk down to the beach. Beach towels. Cooler. Snorkel stuff.
What else: Gary and Eva are pros at anticipating your needs and making sure you have an enjoyable stay. We arranged many things via email prior to our arrival through them. Diving. Fishing. Groceries. Excursions. Transportation.
We already miss Gary and Eva, especially Eva's delicious cooking. Eva prepared a traditional Mexican breakfast for our family, and made us fresh guac and salsa daily! She also cooked all the fish the guys caught on their fishing trip and it was delicious! Gary and Eva really spoiled us and it was delightful!

Casa Tranquilino far exceeded our expectations. The pictures of the listing are accurate and the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. When it says 2 blocks from the beach, they really mean it! The gated community was quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything that Playa Del Carmen has to offer. We felt at home here and would come back in a heartbeat. I will be recommending this place to anyone visiting the area - stay here or wish you did!

My stay at Casa Tranquilino was seriously amazing! Communication with the owners Gary and Eva was great from the very start. Thank you to both of you! My family and I stayed for 9 nights and it was truly a sweet experience. The home is stunning and so clean! Very elegant yet cozy. Ok, so these are my favorite accommodations this home offers: elevator (my mom has bad knees so that was great), the house maid (super sweet, cooks amazing and was super profesional) towels, towels, towels (for beach and bath), backpack beach chairs and beach gear, gorgeous pool and fully equipped patio with fridge and stove - and of course the location was just perfect. It seriously took one min to walk to the beach (which was amazing as well) and it's close to the downtown area so getting to all the tourist spots was super easy and convenient. The house is in a private area so I felt safe and worry free the entire time. Super thankful for Casa Tranquilino. I'm so rested and happy after my amazing stay there! Thanks again to owners Gary and Eva!
