A very nice, clean, and spacious apartment right in the center of La Spezia, with air conditioning in every room.
The train station is only a 5-minute walk away. Everything is within walking distance: bus stops, the port, shops, and restaurants.
The host, Aldo, is very polite and, upon our arrival, immediately explained where everything was located.
If you are looking for a reliable and good place to stay, this is it!
However, keep in mind that you need to walk up some stairs to get to the building, and the apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator.
There was nothing negative about our stay.

Die Lage war sehr gut, sehr nah an der Fußgängerzone und dem Bahnhof. Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs waren auch in der Nähe. Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig für zwei Personen. Der Balkon hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Außerdem war es eine ruhigen Gegend.
Alles war super, nur wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, muss man sich organisieren - dafür ist die Unterkunft natürlich sehr zentral! Günstige Parkplätze sind leider nicht direkt in der Nähe. Nur ab 20 Uhr abends und an Sonn-/Feiertagen kostet es nichts. Also hat uns Aldo dort einen Parkplatz freigehalten, damit wir am Montag umparken konnten. Denn es gibt zwei gut angebundene Park&Ride Parkhäuser in La Spezia. Wir waren im DARMI Park - das war sehr gut!
