The location was perfect.

The elevator was a little scary and small. We had to buy toilet tissue and paper towels. Also the bathroom attached to the master bedroom has a hair clog and it took forever for water to go down the drain. Water pressure in shower was weak. Television was difficult to operate.

What a weekend!! The hotel/ apartment was great and in a great spot, on Ocean Dr. with food, shops within walking distance!! Although I wish the elevator was working, it did then didn’t LOL the 3rd floor is not fun to walk. The building guard down to the cleaning lady was nice, didn’t get to meet the owner but it was okay didn’t have to I guess I still liked everything! And the beach was across the street which I loved. The room slept 5 adult women very good so that second bathroom was amazing to have. Lots of space big fridge and had a stove we didn’t use it but still nice!

Been to Miami many times before, first time here. Didn’t like that there was a tree growing tall blocking the view of the beach. It was close and maybe that’s not the owners problem or thing to handle but it would have been nice to get that “ocean view” I paid for. The beds was very firm, body ached the morning after from them but was still able to sleep. The location is great but that restaurant below the window is live all the time lol the apartment it was barley restocked of needed item like towel paper.

The location of this building is steps away from the beach, we loved that! This place was very quiet. Very kind workers here! Would def return to Barbizon!!

Didnt complain there was a restaraunt in front of the hotel that plays music late at night and early in AM. But vacation is not for sleeping its for a good time so we didnt mind!! :)

What an amazing location - right across from South Miami beach! The apartment is on the third floor, which also helps with keeping the hustle and bustle at street/restaurant level down to a minimum. The apartment is small but suited to the location and being on holiday. It has a very well provided for kitchen with all you would need for a short stay, and the air-conditioning worked really well, keeping the inside cool and comfortable compared to the really hot and humid climate outside. A great host - provided replies to all our questions almost immediately, and the on-site house-keeper was very helpful and friendly as well, providing paper towels when needed and being available to answer any other questions we had - thank you both!

Minor points - there were no hanging rails for towels in the bathrooms, probably due to the fact that the apartment has just been through a renovation. The feel could be further improved with a rug on the floor in the living area - but really a great apartment at a great location. The only other point for us was parking - given the location, parking in the area is very limited, however there is a great public parking garage that our host pointed us to, that is secure, has clearance for large vehicles and charged $20 a day - and its just around the block from the apartment.
