South Beach 1BR on Collins Ave, Parking

his is a homestay with no face-to-face reception or service from staff. Breakfast is not provided, but the unit is equipped with a full kitchen including a drip coffee maker and bagged drip coffee for use. The host responds quickly online and provides clear check-in instructions via text messages combined with photos. The location is excellent — just a one-minute walk to the beach and the bar street, including well-known establishments like the Colonial Hotel for dining and drinks. There are also plenty of supermarkets nearby. A dedicated parking spot is provided for the room, which is very convenient. However, the key is stored in a lockbox attached to the pillar behind the parking space — without photo guidance, it would be quite difficult to find. The air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom works very well. The host had turned it on in advance, so the room was nice and cool upon arrival. The room is spacious, especially the living area with a large sofa. There is an elevator, so even heavy luggage can be easily brought upstairs.

However, the shower experience was disappointing. The water flow was very weak and the water temperature wasn't hot enough. This was the only thing I was not satisfied with. It might not be a big issue in hot summer weather, but if you're looking forward to a comfortable hot shower during cooler temperatures, you'll likely be disappointed. Additionally, the air conditioner is an old-fashioned all-in-one unit, which is very noisy and can affect sleep.
