A+ Golflinks

Atmosphere was lovely, felt warm and cozy. The wallpaper was gorgeous and the library was excellent. Highly recommend staying at the Golflinks.

If you only want a room then fine but forget about breakfast!

The room and bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower.

The room was very cold upon arrival and took a considerable time to get warm. The bulb was fused in the beside light and had to be replaced. The key card was faulty every time it was used - if it worked in the lift, it wouldn't work in the room door. Had to go back to reception several times about it. The cooked breakfast was very poor - cold baked beans, one small dry rasher, one sausage and the mushrooms were smothered in salt. There were only a few croissants and pastries and were not replenished whilst we were there, even though several more people came in for breakfast. Not worth paying extra for breakfast.

Nothing, not clean, couldn't get into front door when we arrived bk, night porter and duty manager was cheeky n ignorant

Staff was very cheeky, when we complained bout. Having to stand outside for 30 mins at 2am in morning , we were met with bad manners n cheek, diff not a nice place and customer service leaves alot to be desired

Faultless lovely hotel with the nicest staff I have ever came across.

The minute we arrived the staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Pippa being very helpful in arranging taxi for us and a smooth check in. Our Room had the biggest most comfortable bed with lovely decor and very modern bathroom , complementary crisps and bottle of water was a nice touch.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely restaurant.

The rooms were lovely, very clean and modern with really lovely toiletries. Excellent shower, and it was great to have air-conditioning as it was a warm day. The receptionist was really helpful and booked us in for dinner. The food was excellent. It was also great having music entertainment in the bar after dinner. Will definitely be back!

Room too small no chairs. Restaurant was poor food average but very loud shouting from some customers ruined the ambience.

Comfortable aircon room. Good in house bar and dining options.

It’s inside a mega caravan/mobile home park, so while close to the golf course it’s not in a parkland setting. It’s a walk to town that might discourage some.

Nice hotel although shame about internal room

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and comfy room. Gorgeous views from the bar/restaurant and everything is so well decorated! AC in the room was handy in the heat, gorgeous bathroom and nice comfy bedroom with TV and free WiFi.

Our room was internal looking out to the elevator so we didn't get any form of view and we had to shut the curtains out of fear of someone being able to see in (there was one way tint but still). Definitely check what room number you are. 1-4 are internal I believe.

Location was excellent

The room was good however bathroom needed to be cleaned. Mould/mildew around the shower tray and the shower tiles need cleaning. Breakfast fell short. Full irish, one piece of bacon and one sausage! Eggs and Salmon only 2 very small pieces of salmon..not a good value for an extra 15 euros per person

Summer weekend in Portrush

The Golf links was great. This is the second year we have come and it was as equally good both times. The rooms are kept to a very high standard with everything from the bottled water to the shower products locally sourced. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We also had dinner which was very yummy and the life entertainment in the evening was great ‘craic’

Successful Northern Ireland experience.

A last minute selected hotel offering a special feeling.

The impressive windows showing a wide view over the coast. Also the Airco to reduce the heath in the room. This was caused by the very large windows in combination wirh the sunny weather.

Bed linen had marks on quilt cover & pillowcases , pillowcases also looked like they had pale light brown stains ! I fail to see how house keeping didn’t pick this up !!! We didn’t say at reception as staff were lovely!

Will definitely stay again, hopefully for longer.

A superb stay; no issues. Sadly it was only for one night. Everything was compact but well supplied, very clean and impressive. The staff were excellent. As is our usual scenario we had booked a meal elsewhere, and were many miles away by breakfast time, but there was no noise during the night and no hassles. The bathroom light was a bit of trouble, it comes on automatically if you go in and shines through the glass door lighting up the whole room for what seems like ages, but removing the card from the electric switch helped. The shower was superb. I would have given our stay a ten but for the bar..... see below.

The bar. We arrived at 3pm, booked into our room and went to the bar, and were the only two people in it. There were a number of televisions showing sport and the noise was deafening. We literally couldn't hear each other. We moved tables twice and there were speakers everywhere, it really was painful on the ears so gave up and went to our room again. After our meal out we came back to the bar at 9pm, which was now showing football. Deafening noise, nothing but shouts and cheers from the other patrons, standing room only so we ended up at a table in the dining room. I know the sports brigade like to stand round the bar three deep and scream at the top of their voices if anyone ever even kicks a ball but for those of us who prefer quieter activities it's a bit off-putting, especially having to lean over and around these patrons when trying to order another drink. The hotel was new to us so we didn't know where else to go for a more relaxing experience.
