A lovely winter weekend at Casa all’antica fontana

We've spent a lovely weekend at Casa all’antica fontana, enjoying skiing on Mt. Zoncolan and chilling at Terme di Arta. The house is warm and charming, the interior made of wood, with a fireplace that is always on. Our kids loved the breakfast made of homemade cake and lots of tasty local produce. Our kind host, Elena greeted us upon arrival, handed us the keys and gave us all kinds of useful info. I love it when you actually get to meet the host these days, and not just get the keys from a key box with a generated message on your phone!

Everything was very, very good. The apartment is different, but in a good way. I have to say that all decorations, furniture, overall arrangement are of an excellent choice and they do create an amazing impression as a whole. The result is absolutely lovely, making Casa all’antica fontana a really special place, warm and welcoming. The breakfast was a treat, the products (home cooked or local) were amazing as taste and of high quality. If you will stay here, do not forget to fill you bottles with the water from the fountain in front. You'll love its taste for sure. We felt exacly like being at home and the credit for this has to go to Elena. We travel a lot, but I rarely saw such dedication, attention to detail and kindness. It was very nice for us to meet you, Elena! Will return here for sure!

Perfect accommodation surrounded by wonderful nature

Our stay in the Casa all'antica Fontana has been perfect. My wife, my son (14) ad I have spent four days in this beautiful place. We have made several short trips in the surrounding hills and forests in the heart of amaizing nature. We never forget to fill the bottles with fresh water from the fountain. The apartment is spotlessly clean, fully equipped with whatever you would need on a vacation stay. The prepared breakfast has been very tasty, we especially enjoyed home-made yoghurt and apricot jam. The freshly baked bread was a nice surprise, too. The surrounding is very calm and silent. Elena is extremely kind and caring, we could not ask for more. Thank you so much :o) We heartily recommend the Casa all'antica fontana and I am giving 10/10 points without hesitation.

We have had a very nice time during our vacation at Elena‘s Casa all‘Antica. Everything was well prepared, nice and clean rooms, nice kitchen and living room. Perfect breakfast with delicious homemade or local products. 10 of 10 points! Maybe i will go there a second time. Friaul is a nice place and Elena‘s appartement is located directly in the center of this nice region. We have been there for motorboking. We some new local friends and they offered is a guided tour- perfect! We‘ve enjoyed ist very much! Thanks!

Wonderful!

The breakfast prepared by the host is very tasty. Many things, like cakes, bread and yogurt are homemade. There are plenty of very good local products like fruits, juices, honey, etc. The small town is lovely, very good place for hiking, cycling and exploring the nature nearby.

Great Location, Cozy, Incredible Hospitality, Stocked Kitchen, CLEAN

This is the perfect place to rest your head after exploring the nearby Mt Zoncolan. We truly did not want to leave because of the incredible hospitality, perfect location, & clean and cozy property. Every morning over coffee we would all rave about how well we slept in the comfy beds. As two couples, we enjoyed how the bedrooms were on different levels so we had some privacy and never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked in it daily. Elena is such an incredible host and we felt spoiled every day when she texted telling us that fresh bread and sweets were delivered to the door. It's a quick 15 minutes drive to the ski resort and there are lots of great restaurants, bars, and a microbrewery nearby as well. We will not hesitate to return back to this property.

Exceptional, Exceptionally Kind Hosts, Perfect for Family

Wonderful, such generous and kind hosts. The space was perfect for my family, cozy, comfortable, clean and quiet but I was really blown away by the hospitality and my daughters and I have stayed at places all over Europe. The town is beautiful and the host ensured we had everything I need. I wish you all the best!!!

Elena was really nice.

Elena is really nice. She left a lot of stuff for breakfast and food (even homemade yogurt). The place is really nice and in a great situation if you want to go hicking or walking. We had a great time there!!!!!!! Thanks, Elena!!!!!

In the second floor, in the kitchen, the roof was too low and you can hit your head easily. The wifi didn't work in the second floor either The stairs were too thin, so it was a bit unconfortable climbing them up and down

Gemütliches und charmantes Domizil

Elena hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthalts mit einem tollen Frühstück verwöhnt (selbstgemachter Joghurt, immer unterschiedliche, selbst gebackene Kuchen und vieles mehr). Man merkt dem Haus an, dass sie es mit viel Liebe renoviert hat. Die Lage in der Ruhe des Dorfes, aber mitten in einer Region, die viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Radfahren bietet, hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Für groß gewachsene Menschen war das Arbeiten in der Küche mit den Dachschrägen manchmal etwas unangenehm. Der Charme der Unterkunft hat das aber wett gemacht und zum Glück sind die Dachbalken gepolstert 😉
