It was absolutely fabulous! Loved the location, the bed was sooo comfortable and the lounge was such a lovely touch. Sharon was so lovely - thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!
This is probably more of a personal preference - but I don’t like to message to ask for fresh towels and such. But I’d definitely stay here again!

We got to stay in room 2 and room 6. They were both incredibly beautiful and elegant. The bathtub in room 2 was slightly more comfortable as it affords back support. The rooms have a TV with channels (although they only worked in room 6).
We absolutely loved the central positioning of the bathtub, the balcony and the high ceiling of room 2. On the other hand, we appreciated the carpet under the bathtub of room 6. The room also felt bigger in size, has the toilet and sink clearly separated from the bedroom with a door, and seating spaces.
The host leaves a wine bottle, chocolate and water in each room, which is fantastic. The lobby has a coffee machine, tea and milk, and chocolate and cookies to have with it. We were definitely addicted to that chocolate haha. Something that really impressed us were the free to use umbrellas in the corridor!
Moreover, the host is incredibly fast at replying and she always felt easily accessible to me. She is very lovely and warm too:). Lastly, there are cafes and restaurants in the area, which we were grateful for.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay!
Overall, we felt that the bed could be comfier if it were not two separate single mattresses put together (as these create a hole in between them which is uncomfortable to lie in). Also hooks to hang our jackets on would have been nice.
In room 2, we would have appreciated doors for at least the toilet section. Moreover, we did find it a bit scary to exit the bathtub as it has no carpet under it and there is only little platform space left to put your feet on. For someone who is shorter like me, it was especially tricky.
In room 6, we would have appreciated a curtain on the small bathroom window, because that window made it hard to completely darken the room and the door separating the bedroom and bathroom is made out of glass. This is of course only a problem to people who struggle to sleep with light like me. The entrance to the bathroom is almost at head level with the bed, meaning that light was shining directly into my eyes. There was construction going on at the neighbours and on the roof and that windown made us feel quite exposed when we were using the toilet.
A general trashcan would also be nice:)
These are mostly small things for us, the only thing that truly bothered us was the construction noise which made us leave the hotel every day as fast as we could after waking up (from it) and made us stay out for long. This is out of the hotels hand though.

The design
The carpet was full of human hairs. One of the towels was dirty. The room smelled very musty.

Very nicely arranged, helpful owner and wonderful location with comfortable bed!
There seemed to have been a problem with the bath tub ( which can always happen of course) so the floor was completely wet after the bath and we needed to sacrifice our towels .

Easy check in, spacious rooms, rooms looks good, kind staff.
The heavy doors made a lot of noise with opening and closing them which woke me up multiple times during the night. Not great for light sleepers.

We spent three wonderful days in Antwerpen and were lucky to stay in this cozy and stylish hotel. The furnishing is special and well chosen. Our charming and attentive host prepared a delicious and diverse breakfast for us. The historic city is just a stroll away and you find the recently reopened Royal Museum of Fine Arts across the street. We will surely return, thank you!

Beautifully decorated rooms and perfect location to discover Antwerp. Bonus points for the 2 in 1 shower!
If you’re a light sleeper, being earplugs because there is not much isolation between the hallway and rooms. The hotel is small, so the noise is not too bad, but if other guests arrive after you’ve gone to bed you are sure to wake up.

Room #3 is extremely specious and stylish. The hotel itself is cosy and intimate, located in a central area with a local vibe.

it was clean and very nice. well situated for our purpose.
the remote control for the airconditioning was not working. first I thought that the batteries were dead which was not the case. if batteries are changed or some previous occupant removes them the remote control needs to be reset an set up again. i had to sort this out a 1 am. maybe a thing for the owners to check before a guest arrives.

No breakfast so can't comment Hated the box bed which was so uncomfortable to get in and out of! The bedside tables were less than useless. Otherwise it was fine but not really my type of place
