Bates motel !!

Nothing.

Reception was locked on arrival. 10 minutes ringing bell to get response. Then told that the restaurant was now closed. The bar was also closed. Told we could get bottled beer in reception. Had to drive 15 minutes to find evening meal. Upon return, reception locked again! Served one bottled beer, then staff told us they were going to bed! Decor was outdated. Dusty. Whole place had a rundown feel to it. Booked and paid in advance for 2 nights. Left after one. Pictures advertise the restaurant and bar. This is blatantly out of date. Misrepresentation. This should not be advertised on booking.com . I will be attempting to get one nights refund. Avoid at all costs.

So green everywhere

The staff working there was very helpful and going extra mile to accommodate our requests. She is super active doing multiple tasks - a bartender, a receptionist, and a waitress. They even accommodated 30 minutes extra time to checkout the room.

- There were way too many house flies everywhere despite having a bunch of insect traps everywhere.

Sauber ja, wohl fühlen geht anders, Preis nicht gerechtfertigt

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Dame im Frühstückservice war sehr freundlich.

Das Hotel ist schon sehr abgewohnt und alt. Die Speisen am Frühstücksbuffet waren sehr lieblos in die jeweiligen Behältnisse gepackt und sahen stellenweise auch nicht sehr frisch aus. Es machte an dieser Stelle eher den Eindruck, dass hier möglichst viel noch herausgeholt werden möchte. Der Preis ist hierfür absolut überzogen.

Het gebouw zelf, het was een oud gebouw. Op de kamer kan je alles horen in het gebouw. De mensen die lopen de andere kamers, de lift ook wanneer andere mensen douchen of naar de wc gaan.

Een nacht gebleven, wegens aankomst rond 18:00 uur, maar nooit weer...

De lokatie is prachtig, maar dit hotel is klaar om gesloten te worden: geen personeel, geen receptie, oude, slechte bedden, slecht kussen en geen(!) faciliteiten behalve een drankenautomaat en af en toe een dinerbuffet. Gelukkig was er een aardige part-timer die ons - na lang aanbellen - aan een sleutel en een tapbiertje hielp, maar we hebben de rest van de reservering gecanceled… Wachten nog steeds op antwoord voor de terugbetaling…!!!

ALLES, behalve de aardige man die ons nog enigszins hielp (sleutel en een biertje) Roerei bij het ontbijt was droog en leek op griesmeel, met daarin(!) spekblokjes geroerd. Niet te eten…

De kamers zijn ruim, de bedden comfortabel, het ontbijt en het buffet zijn sober maar goed. Het personeel is vriendelijk. Het hotel begeeft zich in een mooie omgeving voor motorrijders.

Het hotel is wat verouderd. Als je een modern, luxe ressort wil, kun je beter wat anders zoeken. De handdoeken zijn gekleurd. Voor hygiëne zouden witte handdoeken beter zijn.

We waren op doorreis en voor een nacht was het prima

De locatie en het personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. De prijs was prima voor wat je kreeg.

De verouderde kamers met versleten meubels kapotte vloertegels etc en de algehele staat van het hotel. Alles kan wel een lik verf gebruiken

für eine Nacht o.k

Für eine Übernachtung 2 EZ mit jeweils einem Hund völlig ok. Für den Preis Ferienzeit von Sa auf So - 63 € pro Zimmer voll in Ordnung. Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen, nur noch abendl Büffet für Hausgäste buchbar. Für uns zu früh, waren in Manderscheid lange wandern. Man konnte mit Selbstbedienung auf der Terrasse noch schön was trinken.

Schien deutlich weiter weg von Manderscheid als hier angegeben. Waren ca 17 km zu fahren.

Pappelhof niet meer zoals vroeger.

We gaan al meer dan 10 jaar een paar keer per jaar naar Pappelhof. Deze keer was het verschikkelijk. We hadden 2 nachten geboekt tijdens de week. Tijdens aankomst was het hotel gesloten en de parking was leeg. We moesten naar een tel. Nummer bellen. Er kwam iemand opendoen die ons vertelde dat de kamer beschikbaar was, maar het restaurant en de bar gesloten is. We moesten 20km verder naar een restaurant gaan. Daar hadden we geen zin in en we zijn uiteindelijk naar een ander Hotel gereden. Later kregen we een boze telefoon van de eigenares. Die vond dat we moeilijk deden. Hopelijk krijgen we ons voorafbetaald geld terug, want Pappelhof heeft daarover niks gecommuniceerd.

Ontbijtbuffet prima verzorgd, gezellige bar en terrasje in de avondzon, aparte binnenstalling voor de motoren. Ligging voor motor toertjes prima. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed

Die Lage ist schön ruhig. Für Biker steht eine Unterstellhalle zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück ist mit allem Vertreten.

Een zeer grote tegenvaller ten opzichte van 2 jaar geleden!

De ligging van het hotel is prima. Het ontbijt is ruim voldoende, en voor extra wensen is de dame van het hotel geen moeite teveel! De stalling van de motoren is perfect geregeld.

De kamers zijn klein, maar verder redelijk goed in orde. De kwaliteit van het poetsen van de kamers (veel stof en spinnenwebben) en het verwisselen van de handdoeken is beneden de maat. Het restaurant is alleen nog maar op vrijdag en zaterdag geopend, net zoals de bar. Voor de gasten hebben ze een automaat staan waaruit men een gekoeld drankje zou kunnen nemen, alleen was deze alle 4 de dagen buiten gebruik/defect! Mijn vorige verblijf in dit hotel was in september 2023, destijds was het eten in het restaurant en de gezelligheid 's avonds aan de bar nog ruim voldoende. dit was ook voor mij de reden om hier weer te boeken. Helaas heb ik de sluiting van de bar en van het restaurant over het hoofd gezien bij deze boeking. Zal voor mij zeker de laatste keer zijn dat ik dit hotel heb geboekt.
