Cozy, great atmosphere and the mouse theme adds a cute character.

Very cozy hotel with great food and cute atmosphere (mouse).

Maybe good to ask visitor what their language of preference is. I communicated in broken German and later found out hostess is fluent in English.

Woken up by neighbours' noices in the next room. There wasn't enough food at breakfast. We came around 9:30 and there were no more boiled eggs or scramble available (a little amount of scramble appeared shortly after but not boiled eggs), we also had only 2 croissants left for the 5 of us. Very moderate amount of fruit (one fruit each cut into small pieces) and veggies. All the food was fresh though, good coffee as well.

Good hotel for overnight stay in the Eifel.

Adequate for an overnight stay. We had booked small rooms, and indeed they were small, but as we arrived late and left early the next morning, that was not an issue. Some of the mausetrap inspired gimmicks are amusing.

The restaurant advertised much their pinsa's. Tastes may differ, but another time, I would definitely go for something else, I did not find the pinsa as light and tasty as I had expected. We had brought our own dog, and the hotel is certainly dog-friendly. However, in the restaurant, some dogs were roaming freely, and that was perhaps a little too much of a good thing for comfort with our own dog.

Good choice for hiking

Breakfast was good, for German standards (don't expect sausages, beans, or pancakes). We had dinner twice in the excellent restaurant which had efficient and friendly service and good pricing. The garden of the restaurant is very interesting and we loved watching the ducks and the rooster. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with a lot of hiking trails. Don't miss visiting the castle ruins on the Nerother Kopf, just a couple of km from there. Free parking on the premises.

The room was a bit small. Noise from the street was sometimes annoying and even more annoying was the loud church bells ringing just across from our room at 7.00 every morning! (Not much you can do about that in a catholic area, I suppose..). The location is in a little village so there is no other choice of restaurant without driving 8 km.

Overall very nice, shame about the breakfast.

The breakfast start was late (we requested start of breakfast at 8am, at which point, the staff were not ready (hadn't arrived)). There were also limited options at this time as staff were still setting up. Requested boiled eggs which didn't arrive, and as we were late, left without them/having a decent breakfast.

Small, super clean room for one in “mousy” theme in the wonderful vulcan Eiffel

Super clean small room for one. Good breakfast buffet over the weekend; personal well served breakfast plate when few guests. One sauna entry included in the stay. Worthwhile booking a visit to the salt cave extra. Personal is really friendly and dinner menu is tasty. I would recommend the schnitzel from the house 😉 Good location for visiting e.g. Gerolstein and the lakes area, and super pied a terre for hiking. Mouse theme is really well presented and must be great for children.

Lekker ontbijt, met veel keuze. Rustige kamer met alles wat ik nodig had. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prijzen voor hotel en restaurant zijn zeer goed.

Mocht de kamer wat groter geweest zijn , dat zou beter zijn. Volgende keer een grotere graag.

Goede locatie voor mij als motorijder. Prachtige regio om genietend te touren.

Mijn kamertje (nr 29) was erg klein, maar alles was aanwezig. We een prima bed en voor mij een zacht hoofdkussen.

Top! Hier komen we zeker nog eens terug.

Bediening was top. Vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Supergezellig terras. Het avondeten was echt heel lekker. Ontbijt was basic maar alles lekker vers en voldoende aangevuld. Parking voor de deur. Top locatie, wandelingen vertrekken als het ware voor de deur. Dat we hier nog eens terug komen voor een langere periode, dat staat vast.

Als er dan toch een puntje van kritiek mag zijn, De hoofdkussens mogen van iets betere kwaliteit zijn.

Nezinājām, ka par sāls istabu būs jāmaksā atsevišķi, bet mums tā patika tik un tā. Diemžēl tuvējās baznīcas zvani zvanīja regulāri visu nakti un traucēja gulēt, bet tā nav viesnīcas vaina.

Relaxed en vriendelijk.

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Flexibel. We waren er ietsje eerder en op de valreep reserveren voor de sauna kon nog gewoon .

Op zaterdagavond waren er restaurant gasten die alle parkeerplekken al hadden ingenomen waardoor we niet konden parkeren bij het hotel.

toller Aufenthalt in der Eifel

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit 2 Räumen. Betten waren sehr bequem. Alles war sehr sauber und freundlich. Das Haus /Zimmer befand sich nicht im Hauptgebäude. Wir mussten zum Frühstück, Abendessen und zum Wellness in voller Bekleidung hinüber gehen. Das Gastronomie war toll eingerichtet und das Ambiente hat uns gefallen. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und Preis Leistung war auch okay. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und man musste nicht zu lange auf die Speisen warten. Das Highlight waren die leckeren Torten und Kuchen zum fairen Preis. Einen Parkplatz haben wir hinter dem Haus gefunden. Dieser war kostenlos.

Wellnessbereich war für uns nur in Strassenkleidung erreichbar.
