Nice stop if you want to visit The Shed.

It was right in town, we were headed to The Shed which was within walking distance. Facilities were nice.

No coffee pot or anything to make coffee with! I know tea is big in Ireland but my family do not drink it and do not like instant. Maybe a small French press or something. We had real coffee from an earlier stay but no way to make it. Really everything else was fine, minor things. Not really much to do in town once The Shed closes, could not find entrance to Monica’s and knew they were open. Not many options to eat, someone suggested Henry’s but first comment on their site wasn’t good so we just returned.

Fabulous Weekend spent at Archies Rest and Drumshanbo. Lovely Village and community where everyone knows everyone.

Archies Rest is the perfect location, close to pubs, Centra, takeout and very easy walking distance to The Shed distillery. The double bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

There was no parking available except up the hill from property. There were five vehicles parked in all different directions right out in front. Many other people parked there since they live around this place. Downstairs shower was very outdated and had no shower curtain. Lighting in living room was inadequate. Middle bedroom upstairs was the size of a closet with spiders. My daughter felt very uncomfortable so we left and booked at another hotel. We weren’t there more than an hour and left! Not represented well in pics. First time that has happened in all these years with booking.com.

Location location location

This property is in the most convenient location in the town. A 5 minute amble to the distillery, a 1 minute amble to the café and the same to one of the lovely local pubs, Monica's. Parking right outside too!

We booked for the location, close to the Drumshanbo distillery, so the location is perfect. It was clean, secure and accommodated our group easily for the one night stay we had in mind

Typically in a short term let like this, we would see a small selection of incidental items (tea, coffee). There was none of that - fortunately there is a shop only a short distance, so tea and coffee could be bought, but it seems like a missed opportunity for the property to be a little more welcoming. The shower upstairs has terrible water pressure, but we later discovered there was also a shower downstairs

I would give 10 out of 10 if the pillows were not bad smells

Good location and great facilities. Beautiful house the land lady communicated well and gives great instruction for check in.

The only problem we had was upstairs the bedding too smelly especially the pillows.

Great location, comfortable, 2 bathrooms a bonus.

Poor water pressure upstairs, Sky TV needed a card, some items needed in the kitchen: small saucepan, baking dish (lasagne). And a couple more wine glasses!

Loved it,

The property is centrally located in Drumshanbo with walking easy to everything in the village. The walks and things to do locally are great.

The dwelling had no television or radio available. It would not take much to make this available considering we paid €276 for two nights. It is a simple facility that should be available.

Great town house.

Very cosy house in centre of town.Comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated. Close to great food in lovely setting in The Shed Distillery. Two pubs we enjoyed were The Corner and especially Monica's. The chipper close by a good one. Beautiful countryside with Canal and Lake walks.

Great family stay in a great property.

Quaint accommodation, beautifully presented with wonderful arts and crafts, which enhanced our stay. The table tennis was enjoyed by all on a snowy day.

i was passing the property and Fiona was at the property, she was happy to give me the key at that time and also gave me the key code too and later that day we went back the property.
