Great location, great value

Great location and very good value. The flat was cosy.

The only thing we didn't like was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. I think we were unlucky and the previous guests had been smoking inside the flat.

A comfortable place to stay in a lovely dale.

The flat is very comfortable, looking down onto The Marketplace. I particularly enjoyed a big armchair which would swivel round so I could sit in it and catch the last of the evening sun. The owner very kindly left some supplies including her own hens’ eggs.

A sharper knife and a strainer would be useful.

Good location. kitchen very well equipped. We cooked our breakfast with ease.

The bed in the double room matteress needs replacing. the sofas were not comfortable. Resulting in back ache. the sofa needs replacing. the cushions on sofa and dining chairs need cleaning. the outdoor furniture was unusable due to green moss covering the whole set.

I loved the cleanliness and cosiness of the flat. Everything was ready for our stay. The host (Joan) was brilliant with communication and understanding!

Couple of Bathroom floor tiles loose and broken Doors to each flat are normal thin internal doors with single lock, could do with being updated to more secure and safer fire doors, especially as upstairs flat guests kept leaving main external door open during our stay

Spacious flat with great town view from front window.

The decor is lovely and old fashioned which is how I like it. Clean. Host seems very nice from her texts and was good enough to leave provisions including fresh eggs which were much appreciated. Prime spot overlooking the main street and Market Place. You can just sit in the window and watch the world go by from the first floor.

Very central location. Spacious flat with all the facilities we needed. Excellent restaurants really close and well equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourself.
