Breakfast was very nice, cold meats, cheese, jam, bread rolls, boiled eggs and coffee. Certainly recommend Gasthof Schmidt.

Owner very hospitable, beds very comfy, decent shower, good quiet location, excellent breakfast.

Somewhat surprised that the private bathroom didn't include a toilet. Shared toilet out in passage way. Not ideal but the owners pride in his hotel and overall helpfulness plus secure bike parking results in a decent rating. The description should though note shared toilet.

All was good and comfortable and clean. I had a cozy room under the roof. Close walk to city Excellent continental breakfast old school (no buffet) After calling the owner, I could check-in early. Wifi was good.

Room under the roof a bit hot at a very warm summer day Must share bathroom as indicated in description. Only one bathroom at floor under the roof (combined shower and toilet). If hotel is full there might be waiting time to shower, but I did not have any waiting during my stay.

Friendly welcoming host despite language barriers. Basic, clean, unpretentious offering at good price and well located for EV 5 bike route. Host provided secure storage for bikes. Cool, beer garden.

The host was lovely, rooms clean and next to one another as requested and the breakfast huge and yummy. Would definitely stay again for a stop-over on our trip.

Nicht noch einmal.

Wir hatten ein Economy DZ mit eigenem Badezimmer gebucht. Bekommen haben wir ein Zimmer mit Dusche und Waschbecken und Bett, aber kein eigenes Badezimmer dazu. Wir waren zu zweit und wollten zumindest im Badezimmer Privatsphäre haben. Herr Schmitt fand sein Angebot in Ordnung, obwohl er die angepriesenen Leistungen nicht erbrachte. Es gab keinerlei Rabatt. Außerdem war es in der Dusche schimmelig.

Das Frühstück ist neben der Übernachtung sehr zu empfehlen!

Für Personen die auf der Durchreise sind, ist das Gasthaus Schmitt durchaus akzeptabel, da der Preis für ein Einzelzimmer für 45 Euro in Ordnung ist. Klar, ist das ganze Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das war mir persönlich egal. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, es gab Eier, drei verschiedene Brötchen, Krustenschinken, Käse und Salami. Kaffee und Orangensaft ebenfalls, alles im Preis dabei. Da kann man nicht meckern. Sollte mein Fussballteam mal wieder im Saarland spielen, könnte diese Unterkunft wieder eine Alternative sein. Herr Schmitt wirkt vielleicht etwas robust, mit ihm scheint man aber Reden zu können. Allerdings sollte man wissen, dass man eben in einem Altbau untergebracht ist und nicht in einem Neubau. Aber das war mir persönlich egal. Das Einzelzimmer ging in Ordnung, mir hat nichts gefehlt.

Leider etwas Rauchergestank im Flur, da in der Gastwirtschaft noch geraucht wird. Da lobe ich mir Franken bzw Bayern, dass wir diese Zeiten hinter uns haben.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, ein einfaches sauberes Zimmer Dusche und WC im Flur für meine Zwecke vollkommen ausreichend. Einen Platz für mein Fahrrad habe ich auch bekommen. Es gab also nichts auszusetzen

Sehr gute Betten, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres Frühstück. Ich war rundum zufrieden. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Ausstattung war genau wie beschrieben. Ich war nur eine Nacht dort.

Das Zimmer ist einfach perfekt – sowohl in Bezug auf die Ausstattung als auch auf die Lage. Der Gasthof liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung, sodass man wunderbar entspannen kann, und dennoch ist die Stadtmitte bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles blitzsauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Ideal für den Kurztrip

Frühstück ok. ca. 8 Min zu Fuß zum kleinen City. Fahrräder konnten in der Garage unterstellt werden, gut. Der Hausbesitzer war freundlich

Die Toilette ist außerhalb des Zimmers. Ich konnte die Temperatur des Wassers in der Dusche nicht kühler einstellen. Das Wasser war ziemlich heiß. Das Waschbecken ist im Zimmer. Die Haushälterin hat im Raum Wäsche gebügelt. Das hat unser Frühstück ziemlich gestört.

Het viel mee , en de matrassen waren goed !

Eenvoudig maar eerlijk ontbijt ! Vriendelijke mensen maar geen tijd voor een praatje . Gezellige bar op het gelijksvloer

Er was een probleem met de riolering . Soms werd de doucesiffon leeggetrokken door het toilet door te spoelen en onstond er geurhinder in de kamer . Simpel op te lossen door wat water te laten lopen , wel lastig voor iemand die dit trucje niet kent !
