A place I’m always happy to return to

Sounds like a review. Here’s a clean, polished version you can post or send: I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and have always been met by polite, kind, and genuinely considerate people. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff — they’re attentive without being overbearing. The two brothers who run the place are particularly welcoming, and the rest of the team reflects that same attitude. The location couldn’t be more central, just steps from the small alley filled with great bars and restaurants. Breakfast is exceptionally good, and the coffee is genuinely sublime. A place I’m always happy to return to.

There’s honestly not much I can say in terms of negatives. If there were ever any small issues, they certainly weren’t due to the hotel or its staff. Overall, it’s been consistently excellent and a place I’m always happy to return to.

Beautiful quiet hotel in the heart of the old town

The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. We got a free upgrade. Breakfast was lovely. Right near the old town but couldn’t hear any noise. Property is very pretty. 10 minutes walk from the bus station.

I had a great stay and would stay here again, great staff, excellent food/deserts

The free breakfast was very very good. The food in general was great and the prices were very affordable, especially considering the quality. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even helped us with learning Albanian! The deserts are amazing

My only issues would be that the air conditioning in my room did struggle a bit on the hottest days and there wasn't a chair in my room. I was able to work sitting on the corner of my bed next to the desk but a chair would be nice.

A wonderful place to stay in lovely Gjakova!

We liked everything about this lovely hotel. our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and had a large balcony with pretty antique railings. The room was modern, clean, quiet, good shower and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is actually bigger and much nicer than the photo they’re using on booking portrays. We were surprised that it was more than the little guest house that the photo shows. It actually has a very large restaurant area, pastry shop, etc. The staff didn’t speak much English but we’re kind, and of course google translate worked fine. The location is also perfect, right across from the river and very near the Grand Bazaar and other tourist sights. Breakfast is included and was a great start to our day.

Superb

It is a very nice hotel. The room was west european standard and super clean with a big balcony. All in all for a reasonable fair price. The city Gjakova is must seen city in Kosova and the hotel is located right in the heart of it. We defenately come back!

Fantastic, friendly place to stay in central Gjakova

Perfect location right next to the old bazaar and the river - ideal for the restaurants and bars. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and lovely and the breakfast was fab. Also the room had a huge balcony which was a great bonus.

Disappointing visit

This hotel is in a perfect location, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The old bazaar is a few minutes walk away. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. Facilities were good because there was a restaurant on site.

Overall we were disappointed with the stay. Initially there was no hot water in the bathroom although this was sorted out quickly when we spoke to reception. There was heavy rain and the ceiling leaked quite badly which meant that we had to put bins and towels underneath and we could hear the water dripping throughout the night. When we reported it, it was clear that the hotel knew about this issue and there were signs on the ceiling of a previous leak. In the morning we were told that due to the rain it was not a buffet breakfast but we could order from the breakfast menu. There was no English menu so we couldn't read it. Reviews suggest that breakfast is often from the menu rather than a buffet as suggested in the pictures. There was also no mini bar, just an empty fridge which differed from the pictures.

"Happy" to stay in this very nice spot in the very center!

The hotel is located in the very center of the town and on the bazar' street enter. Parking is hotel front. Room was large enough with a nice balcon and it was clean. Price was fair. I arrived late at night (3 am) but I had no problems at all thanks to kindness of the staff who waited me. Breakfast included at the ground level.

In my room I could hear some noise from the road down below. Nothing to complain for, but something to be improved for a better stay.

Consistandly great!

The kitchen provides coffee early morning! The staff are always courteous and friendly. The breakfast omelet is excellent. Room (balcony) room is spacious and clean. The location is in the center of the little village area which allows one to walk.

Friendly team and children love this place!

Very friendly team and lovely place. We had a warm welcome and the room was good. We liked the restaurant downstairs and our children enjoyed the playgarden (and the sweets!!!). The breakfast was very good, we could choose ourselves and the children had pancakes with nutella. In the room was a jacuzzi.

Supermarket, takeaway foods and gym are all within 5min walk. The hotel is close to the main entertainment area with bars and restaurants. Staff are friendly and breakfast is great. Room has AC and fridge.

Summer most diaspora returns for their annual posturing session. The surrounding area is quite busy and noisy. Traffic also swells which adds to the time it takes to go anywhere.

Exceptional

Location is great, just where it all happens. Staff was very kind and smiling, abd even made a great tasty pizza at a very late hour when I arrived. Room was Clea and bed was comfortable. Simple. The location is great since it's 10 meters from the ongoing street if bars which is amazing during night time (mostly young, but for an older crowd it happens as well at the other end). It's really great place. The history of this city is amazing, during the war it suffered so much. It's great to see the city recover and in such a great way.
