Lovely stay & would definitely come back.

Beautiful place, location is good, just outside of Beaune. Bed was comfy, shower was good and pool was lovely. Coffee is available in the breakfast area. Wifi is brilliant if you need to work. The staff on site were lovely and accommodating.

Kettle or coffee making facilities in the room would be a nice addition.

Truly enjoyed Le Jardin de Maurice, and would happily go back.

Le Jardin de Maurice is a wonderful place to stay, and I highly recommend it. First and most important was the hospitality of Luna and Edwige -- they were truly welcoming and helpful, and very accommodating as we managed our schedule around a small baby's needs. The Jardin itself is very pleasant. It's a small compound with two nicely-built stone structures -- the long house, which has the office, four bedrooms and the large sitting room/breakfast area, and the smaller "gîte" house that sleeps up to six. Our room was exceptional -- truly. It was really a suite: one walks up steps above the office to a very large sitting/tv room (with sofa bed) as well as a huge bathroom; a few steps down to a kind of mezzanine level opens to an enormous bedroom about four times the size of the king bed. I was deeply impressed. My daughter had a more normal sized room, but big enough for all the baby paraphernalia. Both rooms were air-conditioned, although we didn't use ours as the room was cool even on the hottest days. The breakfast was simple but very tasty (all the breads are fresh and bio from local bakeries), and we also were able to access the large kitchen to make simple dinners in the evening. The pool was excellent -- perhaps 12 meters and all chest height, but kept clean and perfect for cooling off on the blistering hot days. Nice covered sitting and dining areas right next to it, with a high-quality gas barbeque(!), which the guests can use. And the yard next to the pool was perfect for our games of badminton, paddle ball and frisbee. The little village of Sainte-Marie-la-Blanche is about a ten minute drive away from Beaune, so you need a car ... but for those intending to explore the vineyards of Burgundy, this is not an issue. We only went to one very nearby bistro, which was very good, but there are a number of Michelin-starred and -mentioned restaurants in Levernois, about 3km away.

The distance is a small but manageable issue; the bees could be annoying at breakfast, especially if eating at the tables outside.
