An all right place for a short and budget stay

The owner is very nice, there is a free parking spot and the location is convenient overall. The room was very spacious.

The room was too hot and there was a lot of noise outside. So it was difficult to sleep at night. The room was spacious but everything was dated.

Disappointed with the condition of the bathroom - black mold in the corners in the shower, the fan was too loud, one lamp bulb near the mirror was not working. Likely it was not cleaned after previous guest.

I would recommend this place to stay.

Centre of the village, welcoming staff and huge room. Old building next to road but secure motorcycle parking a street away. Evening meal was good value and plenty of beer to drink as the temperatures topped 38 degrees. Warm reception on arrival and breakfast good.

Utterly disconcerting...all other bookings absolutely OK

I notice that Booking.com has put a red info banner on the hotel. It is impossible to describe the chaos in the establishment. From waiting in the rain for half an hour after a long drive from the Adriatic to be expected to carry luggage (both over 70)... to being told no breakfast (despite it being advertised) to being unable to accept Mastercard payment. They wanted CASH and seemed upset at being informed that I would report that to Booking.com. Reading the critical reviews it is clear that something has gone terribly wrong at the property and it needs a full investigation by the authorities. We wanted to arrange Check out (and pay cash) on Sunday night 5 June to leave at 7.00 on Monday morning..nobody in the House excedpt a couple from Munich...tried phoning the manager...no answer and no response to SMS. Left full details and requsted contact to arrange payment bank to bank later....to date (8th June) nothing. I hope my Mastercard account isn`t compromised.....avoid.

Amazing experience, great stay, wonderful owners!

Amazing hotel, very spacious & kind owner's! The owners took care of everything that was needed & the food was excellent as well! I also extended my stay an additional 2 weeks because I loved this hotel so much! The owners are SO helpful and INCREDIBLY friendly!! I highly recommend this as the best place to stay in the area!

Not terrible but too many problems for a place with that price.

Biggish room, nice building, good location.

How to reach the parking lot was poorly explained, the shower head was half broken off the wall and there was mold in the shower. There was also a water stain on the ceiling and the bed was uncomfortable and creaked a lot. You heard everything the neighbor did.

Staff extremely helpful, free private parking was an unexpected bonus, room exceptional. We left early so no comments on breakfast but we have stayed before and breakfast was then good. Location smack in the middle of the village.

In the atrium on the way to the rooms there is a life-size Jesus on the cross on a wall which is a little disconcerting. But a historical reminder of the area so just a personal reaction.

Acceptance ok. Clean and large room.

No ventilation in restaurant. No windows open. The cook in the dining room had a cold, was sneezing, had no mask and did not wash his hands.

Positively surprised - good value!

Seeing the ratings I was expecting a quite bad experience, but got positively surprised. Yes, the hotel is a bit old and furniture could be replaced, but everything was clean and functioning properly. The room was huge and the location very convenient in the city centre. I also appreciated the convenient parking.

Nothing really, I knew there was no breakfast offering, so that was okay. The hotel could need an overall makeup, but price and value are still good.

No breakfast option. No elevator. No one was as the reception during checkout. We had to leave the key on the table. I think it was insecure.

Würde dieses Hotel nochmals buchen. Ist zentral gelegen. Parkplätze in der Nähe.

Das Gebäude ist sehr alt aber wunderbar restauriert worden. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und ok.

Leider kein Frühstück, ist aber um diese Jahreszeit ok. Der Fernseher könnte etwas größer sein.

Ottimo soggiorno in famiglia.

Posizione comoda nel centro di Appiano, vicinissima a tutti i negozi e ai ristoranti. 10 minuti di macchina e si è nel centro di Bolzano. Alex, il proprietario è gentilissimo e disponibile per ogni esigenza. La stanza è grande e pulita, rifatta ogni giorno. Il ristorante è buono ed a prezzi ottimi.

Il ristorante era chiuso avrei voluto provare una cena prima di coricarsi ma comunque a 80 MT ci sono validi locali sia per colazione che per la cena.
