Appartements Eppanerhof

Frühstück war sehr gut, Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Balkon mit Morgensonne sehr gut.

Die Lage in Eppan St.Michael war sehr gut für unsere diversen Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Das Appartement war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Besonders angenehm war, dass man den zur Wohnung gehörenden Balkon gut nutzen konnte. Herrliche Südlage mit seitlichem Bergblick. Und nicht zuletzt die reizende Familie Unterhauser hat den Urlaub sehr angenehm gestaltet. Der herrliche Biergarten unten hat eine sehr rustikale Atmosphäre. Super Speisen!

Hot / no fans / hard to sleep: I understand there was no AC (because Italy…), but being over 35 degrees everyday (climate change…), I think it’s reasonable to expect a 3-star hotel of this price to at least provide floor fans, but they didn’t have anything. It made being there during the day uncomfortable, and sleeping at night was very difficult. While it did cool down most nights, you need to open all the windows for any cool air to enter the room, but there was a lot of street noise (loud motorcycles passing every couple minutes) and late night restaurant noise from the Biergarten right below (part of the hotel), plus very early morning light, so it was impossible to get a good night’s sleep. I couldn’t wear earplugs as I have a baby. 2. The kitchenette was extremely minimal; for example, a coffee machine with no filters provided. We had to buy a few basic things just to make it usable. It was limiting which was unfortunate because we specifically wanted a place where we could cook as we have a baby and going out is difficult.
