Wonderful week in nature

We spent a week here. The apartment is nice and clean. The kitchen has everything one could possibly need. The balcony offers a magnificent view of the mountains. A narrow but paved road, about 1 kilometer long, leads from the town to the house. The host and his family are kind and very helpful. The area offers plenty of opportunities for hiking. The Maltatal is rich in natural beauty and waterfalls. Excellent quality bike paths lead to the most beautiful spots. The nearby small town of Gmünd has a downtown area that can be explored in about an hour, but considering the exhibition halls showcasing a wide variety of artistic disciplines (folk crafts, silversmithing, painting, sculpture, wood carving, music, etc.), even a whole day may not be enough. At the tourist office located in the main square, we received all the help we needed.

Beautiful environment, excellent house and rooms.

Markus, the host is very kind and helpful. The perspective and the view from the house is unbelievable. Everything was all right. Markus involves anyone who wants in feeding the animals. Rooms are clean. Nice small town/village (Gmünd) with some interesting sights.

Minor thing: missing mosquito nets from some windows.

Everything perfect, spacious, clean, well equipped.

Local road from Gmund could be in better condition, also private driveway from it to the property should be taken care off soon.

Return to this quiet and beautiful place

Nice and helpful host, beautiful landscape, great location (if you prefer to stay away from the residential area but still close to civilization and to starting points of daily hikes), generous facilities, presence of farm animals (children like these!)

Perfekte Unterkunft für einen Kletterurlaub zu zweit. :)

Markus ist der liebste Gastgeber gewesen, schöner Bauernhof, netter Balkon bei der Unterkunft, alles super sauber. Träumchen! Waren fürs Klettern im Maltatal, dafür kann ich die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Das einzige, was uns gefehlt hat, waren Buttermesser haha

Wspaniałe miejsce

Super pobyt. Apartament bardzo nas zaskoczył. Był duży i bardzo funkcjonalny. Przytulna w pełni wyposażona kuchnia. Dużym atutem był balkon z pięknym widokiem na góry. Szukaliśmy miejsca oddalonego od zgiełku miast i takie jest jest właśnie Laxhube. Idealne dla szukających ciszy , spokoju , bliskości przyrody, ceniących komfort i wygodę. W gospodarstwie znajdowały się kozy , kaczki i inne zwierzęta co stwarzało sielankowy nastrój. Markus jest super osobą i gospodarzem, zawsze pomocny, życzliwy. Czuliśmy się naprawdę jak w domu. Bardzo polecamy i jest to miejsce do którego na pewno będziemy chcieli wrócić.

Bauernhof Idylle

Ein schöner Ort zum entspannen, wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig! Markus und seine Frau sind wirklich tolle Gastgeber und sehr kinderfreundlich. Ausflugstips gab es ebenfalls und danke nochmal für den Hinweis mit der Kärntenkart. Die war Gold wert!

Die Matratzen waren etwas fest, aber ich glaube das kann man niemandem Recht machen ;o) Sonst war alles top!

40km jazdy max od kölnbreinsperee, od Seeboden, od szczytu Goldeck, jak również wejść na większości szlaków. Do miasteczka ok 1km -Gmünd z murami z 13 wieku i zamkiem. Dla mnie super !!

Einwandfreier Skiurlaub für die Familie

Sehr schöne Wohnung, modernes Bad und Küche, sieht man auf den Fotos nicht unbedingt. Sehr netter Vermieter, vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Möglichkeit die Skistiefel abzustellen und zu trocknen angenehm. Unsere Stallbesuche werden wir vermissen

Ein bisschen abseits von der Stadt, dennoch gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Dafür eine wunderschöne ruhige Lage
