Family trip

We were looking for a peaceful place where our kids could have fun, and the accommodation met our expectations. The host was very friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing homemade products we received as a farewell gift. I really appreciated the cleanliness — the kitchen and bathroom were a bit older, but everything was high-quality, fully functional, and in excellent condition. We enjoyed the fresh air and the lovely countryside atmosphere. Thank you 💝😊

As I mentioned, the equipment was a bit older, but for us it wasn’t a problem at all — everything was in excellent condition, like new. It would have been nice to have some coffee available, at least for the first couple of mornings, since the kitchen was so well equipped. I didn’t think to bring any ground coffee with me. We also missed having bins for sorting waste — there was just one standard bin and a small container.

Great place and great host to visit beautiful Austria! Highly recommended

The place was well equipped, extremely clean and is well located close to the town of Gmund. There are tons of things to do around there. Karin is an amazing host and gave us lots of ideas for things to do. Our kids also loved playing with her pets, the fussball table and ping pong table. Also, Karin sent us on our way with homemade apricot jam and pumpking seed oil - thank you Karin! We’d love to come back.

Exceptional

Wonderful place for a summer vacation in a village up in Alps, excellent for children. Beautiful views, super friendly and helpful owner. Away from the town, you need to move by car, but on the other hand close enough to reach many excursions, be it selection of cable cars to hike up in the mountains, easy or advanced routes, drive one of the scenic routes. or relax swimming in a pool or better the warm Miltstatter See. A lot of great attractions for kids up to 30 mins driving distance.

a wonderful place for a family vacation.

The possibility to visit a family farm in the neighborhood with children. Typical Austrian architecture including the apartment. That's exactly the reason why I like Austria so much. Very kind and dedicated lady owner.

A bit far from ski areas, but so pleasant and nice that it didn't matter.

Very nice house. Very comfortable and new and in the great location if you like peace and quiet. Great owners who showed our kids their animals and let them feed them. The kids were very happy.

The house is on the hill and the road is narrow. We were there in the winter but it was warm. I don't know how we would reach it if there was snow.

Very nice house on the hill

Great host, very clean and spacey house. It was warm although we were there in the winter. You can feed domestic animals and play games in playroom. Surrounding area is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this house for exploring area.

House is highter on the hill. Narrow road lead via serpentinas. Fortunately we did not experience snow on roads.

Georgeous appartment with great price&performance

The cleanest appartment we ´ve ever been to. Very spacious, practically 2 interconnected appartments with own bathrooms and a common kitchen - for us a family of 2+2. So even in case of a bad weather easy to stay indoors. The equipment included everything you may think of and it was in a new and perfect shape as well. Super comfy beds. Karin, the host, was very warm and nice to talk to all the time. Despite a nearby highway very little sound noticeable, otherwise no other noise at nights. Soundproof walls with neighours. Perfect location to do trips in the Kärnten region.

If you look for a mountain appartment in a small village yet close to region´s highlights, you will not regret, really:). We had some wifi issues, mostly for a couple of minutes and/or in some parts of the room, just to name the only one and insignificant experience.

A beautiful place for a family holiday

The location is absolutely great, with beautiful views of the mountains from the balconies and terrace of the guesthouse, yet close to the A10 motorway, which takes you quickly to Millstätter see or Villach. Karin was an absolutely exceptional hostess. It is obvious that she thoroughly enjoys her work and wants to be helpful to her guests in all situations. The children had a lot of fun feeding the pigs and cats with her. The apartments are well equipped, including the kitchen, we had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a huge balcony. There are mosquito nets in the windows and balcony doors. There is also ping pong and tractors and wagons for the children. You can use the washing machine for a small fee. Supermarkets and restaurants are in nearby Gmünd.

Our kids would have appreciated a trampoline, but we knew it wasn't there, so it's not a negative thing. The cushions are a bit bigger which may not suit everyone.

Entspannter Kurzurlaub - gerne wieder !

Die Gastgeberin Karin war super nett und herzlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch weil die Appartments abgelegen und landschaftlich wunderschön eingebettet auf dem Berg lagen. Den Kindern wurde es nicht langweilig. Es gab Ponys, Schafe, Laufenten, Schweine und Katzen. Ausreichend Spiel- und Sportgeräte wie Kettcars, Sandkasten, Rutsche, Schaukel und eine Tischtennisplatte etc. waren vorhanden. Die Kühe befanden sich bei unserem Besuch bereits auf der Alm.

Heerlijk relaxen

Mooie locatie bovenaan een slinger pad. Mooi uitzicht en in de avond lekker koel met slapen door hogere ligging. Karin was super aardig en de kinderen mochten elke avond de varkens voeren. Stuk of zes skelters voor de kinderen en een leuke spelletjes kamer met pingpong en tafelvoetbal spel speeltuintje erbij. Kinderen waren tevreden. Internet was goed en bedden ook prima. Wel beetje oudbollig maar hoort erbij in oostenrijk. Alles heerlijk schoon !Alles wat je nodig bent om te koken is aanwezig , niks gemist voor her eerst.

De oven werkte wel maar de hetelucht functiewerkte niet goed waardoor we iets langer op de broodjes moesten wachten, maar ja dat is niet erg als je vakantie hebt.
