We had a very enjoyable stay at Opus XVI. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a particularly nice bathroom. The hotel’s central location is excellent for exploring Bergen on foot, and the availability of valet parking was extremely convenient during our road trip. Breakfast was very good and added to the overall quality of the stay. Overall, Opus XVI is an elegant and very well-located hotel that we would happily recommend.
Our only minor reservation was that the lobby and restaurant felt somewhat dark.

Good central location. Comfortable rooms with good amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Gloomy main public rooms. Reception looked like a temporary structure, partially blocking access to main lounge. Depressing view of grubby internal courtyard from our room. Shower drain partially blocked, with mould growing nearby. No plug for the bathroom sink. TV worked poorly and offered few options. Service was poor and slow at times, with staff disinclined to serve guests at tables in the lounge.
