Facilities were good but unfortunately had a bad experience with late check-in and to find car burgled on day of checkin

The location was good for an Air BnB

Was not aware that a refundable deposit had to be paid in advance which prevented me from checking in on arrival. Also was not aware of street parking permits. Unfortunately car got burgled on the second night of stay. Rather disappointing. The kettle was coated with limescale and there was nobody on site to speak to for a replacement.

Comfortable, quiet stay

Lovely to stay here, as a couple we didn't need much, but could be useful to have a chair in case you are tired of sitting on the bed, ha. Lovely host, had an issue with the door lock that got answered promptly! complimentary toiletries, coffee and tea, plus little treats in the fridge! How kind!! Hairdyer, brolly, robes if you need them..never been spoiled this much, haha ❤️ Parking was a huge bonus, it was a lovely and quiet area! Really glad we managed to spend time here. ☺️

Nothing really stood out or was a fault from the host, but i'd be glad to share a heads up to others- there was no milk so if you plan on having a coffee pop into a shop, and bring an emeegency pack of 4x AA batteries just in case- our door lock ran out of power, played an annoying melody and did not lock the door until we swapped them. Host said it was fine in the morning and as we arrived in the evening it must've drained. Thankfully the host left replacement batteries by our door in the morning!❤️

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent with plenty of street car parking. The communication was clear and i received a very prompt response to my question. The appartment was clean also

A great place to stay and great location on a quiet street with easy parking.

A very nice clean studio apartment which was close to the beach and other attractions (recommend the Hovercraft to Isle of Wight). There are buses running frequently to Southsea town/Portsmouth (No 3 or 23) - use Google Maps. Thanks to Studio owner for help on a few queries who was very supportive.

Good Location

The location, cleanliness and free drinks and snacks in the fridge which was a nice touch.

Very small, one tiny bedside table so nowhere to put your things on. I was a solo traveller but for me I would have struggled if I was in a couple.

Great location, nice and clean.

Great location in a quiet road close to beach, local restaurants and pubs. Nice and clean, easy street permit parking, permits available onsite charged at £4 per day. Easy access with key lock and good communication from Samantha.

A bit small, especially the bathroom which is tiny, but great shower. Bed too small and soft for us. Needs a socket, bedside table and lamp on the far side.

Excellent beachfront accommodation!

Everything about our stay at this place was amazing. From the cleanliness and comfort of the studio, to the clear and warm communication from the hosts, it is safe to say we were very pleased with our experience. It’s the perfect place for a weekend trip; the location is right next to the beach as well as being in walking distance of local shops and restaurants, and while it is small, it has everything you need. Complimentary snacks and drinks are included in the mini fridge. There is a coffee machine with a generous supply of coffee pods and biscuits, as well as a sink (including a sponge and washing-up liquid, and a teatowel), a microwave, plates and cutlery, glasses and mugs, and a small bin by the kitchenette. A cupboard by the (spacious and VERY comfortable) bed included 2 robes, slippers, an ironing board, a hairdryer, and a safe for valuables. Underneath the bed from the top of my memory was extra bedding and the iron. The bathroom was immaculate, with a toilet, standing shower, sink, and complimentary soaps and shampoos/conditioners. 2 towels and a hand towel are also in the bathroom. Downstairs is also a lovely backyard area, with a small gazebo where you can sit for a smoke or for some fresh air. Overall, our stay was far more than satisfactory, and I would highly recommend it to either solo travellers or couples!

It is slightly on the smaller side, but not uncomfortably so. As long as your belongings remain organised, your stay is perfectly comfortable.

Location and staff

Internet poor and disconnected for many hours of the night. TV was constantly having volume issues - all channels after around 10 min and would frequently mute without being turned on. Front door lock frequently difficult to open, poor instructions and another guest advised to tap, turn left then right and that worked every time but not explained, room entry was fine.

The bed was comfortable

The room was very small and it was a studio apartment, not a 1 bed apartment which was misleading. The kitchenette was just a small fridge, a microwave, kettle but no cooking facilities... no hot plate to cook anything, so everything had to be microwaved. The shower was very nice, but if you were a bigger person, I don't think you would be able to get in at all.

The ease of checking into the apartment. The helpfulness of the owner via email and the online app services that I booked the apartment with. Clean and tidy room with everything required for a few nights away. Added bonus of the complimentary drinks and snacks in the fridge. A very nice and thoughtful gesture. Great location within Portsmouth.

Super clean studio, lovely little touches with the dressing gowns, welcome gifts, information in the guide. Comfy mattress. Hot water (super hot!). Clean apartment. Parking vouchers easy to use. We had a lovely stay.

We didn't dislike anything at all! Just a suggestion for the future maybe. For workers/late arrivals a microwave in the kitchenette would have been great. We got in from long days labouring and really just wanted a hot shower, bite to eat and collapse. A microwave pasta dinner and breakfast porridge would have been the icing on the cake to save us having to go out again to eat or wait for food deliveries which take over an hour. It's not advertised with one so this isn't a negative!

It's a beautifully appointed mini apartment with all you need for a break away and it is immaculate! Having booked before I knew it would be welcoming and quiet plus the manager is so helpful I felt completely relaxed. The location is excellent for exploring Southsea, Portsmouth and beyond plus easy parking right outside.

The room was adequate for my one-night stay.

Location was fine, shower was easy to operate and had a proper mat, plenty of tea and coffee available to make. IN a basic sort of way, very satisfactory. When I locked myself out on the Sunday morning, the texted advice was prompt and exactly what I needed.

Getting into the house in the dark was difficult, as I couldn't work out where the key box was: it turned out to be what I'd thought was a burglar alarm, as a resident told me when he happened to emerge while I was flailing. The light that comes on near the porch goes off almost immediately. Once inside, you need to know how to switch the lights on: advice (which is very simple) needs to be given in advance. Room could do with a chair (there is none!) and some kind of table or surface to put things on (books, papers).

A small but new addition to the accommodation stock of the area.

We liked the location: we had stayed in a similar place several times before. It is convenient to explore historic Portsmouth and is on a major bus line. We have bus passes and parking in Portsmouth is expensive. The apartment was small but obviously new. All the fittings were unmarked. It was warm and the beds were good.

The description said that there was a kitchenette: I like to cook so had brought eggs, bacon pasta and vegetables. And all that there was was a microwave. And I brought it all home again... A microwave can only reheat bought food and I think that should be made clearer. We are both over 70 and my wife had to get down on her knees to open the shower door: very hard to open.

Lovely apartment.

Lovely apartment and very well located in a quiet road for exploring Southsea or hopping over to the Isle of Wight for the day. Spotlessly clean with some lovely nibbles and drinks left to make you feel welcome . Very comfortable bed and a powerful hot shower. Great communication from the host with clear instructions on how to access the property on arrival and how to contact them should any problems arise. Would thoroughly recommend. We will be staying again.
