Experience in Marseille

Location is great and the size for a family of 4. The views are excellent. Many restaurants are nearby. Short walk to the waterfront. The Cathedral Le Major feels like it's just around the corner.

Maybe the steps weren't great with no lift, but it was just part of the experience for us.

Mimi has a lovely place, and she needs to replace the cleaning service for the better.

Good location. Open layout. I like the kitchen, i has everything for us to cook.

The bed linens of bunk-bed were dirty. All blankets of the double bed and the bunk-bed had body odour from the privous guests. The stairs are small n narrow, was really hard to carry luggage. Mimi was very helpful offering to bring us the new bed linens, but the bad smell of the blanket was just too much. I decided to sleep in the sofa and used throw as my blanket for the 2 nights.

Location was fabulous, apartment was very nice with everything we needed. Very efficient check in and out.

The stairs up is hard with luggage. As others have mentioned, you need to be able to carry your luggage 3 stairs that are both tall and narrow. Other than that, it was great.

perfect stay in Marseille

very nice apartment located in “Le panier”. lot of light in the main room, beds comfortable. a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. we never got to meet the owner as everything was organized with a key on a secured box, but we got to chat on the phone and Mimi seemed adorable. would go there again on a futur trip in Marseille!

if you can’t walk properly you have three floors to climb on narrow and stiff stairs. it didn’t bother us, but better to know that in advance if it could be an issue.

Fab loft & good Location

location is great , not far to walk along the harbour. We are travelling around for a month so use of a washing machine greatly appreciated ❤️Plus chilling on the sofa was great Great communication with owner via txt .

Be aware that there are a lot of stairs to climb , so if you’re mobility isn’t good this isn’t for you But no bother to Us

Flat was a very good base for an enjoyable stay in Marseille.

Very well equipped flat that had everything we needed. Great location near to port and Panier district.

Three flights of stairs to reach the flat and the fact that the suggested location for left luggage was closed when we wanted to use it.

A great flat for a great city to visit.

Very well equipped flat with a fine view across the city. Delightful location in the old City, called le Panier, with a short walk to Mucem (the museum of European civilisations) and the Cosquer Cave replica (highly recommended). Plenty of good restaurants, bars and food shops within a few minutes walk. Wifi worked fine. The owner Mimi was a pleasure to deal with.

The bunk beds probably wouldn't suit all adults and I didn't find the living room furniture v comfortable. Note: there are three old and narrow flights of stairs to the flat.

Enjoyed our stay at Mimi’s

Great location, very responsive owner. Quiet and convenient for a family stay. Pots and pans and utensils adequate for basic cooking.

Not too clean, especially the floors. Some areas very dusty, looks like the cleaning is superficial focusing on linens. Had to clean our feet before getting into bed. Ended up sweeping the floors. Sink was clogged likely by previous guests, so had to use a plunger.

Excellent place to stay.

The location was fantastic, Mimi the owner was great and helped make sure we arrived with no issues. The Loft really is in a perfect location and is only a few minutes away from the port. It's also only 100m away from the 'Bring me my Coffee' coffee shop that serves a fabulous breakfast. The Loft itself is well furnished and comfortable with a kitchen, nice bathroom and comfortable beds.

The loft is on the 3rd floor and the narrow stairs leading up to it are a difficult to get up with heavy suitcases. The loft itself is rather hot as it is in the middle of summer and there is no AC. But with fans it was comfortable enough so these are only minor issues which did not spoil our stay. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to others.

I wouldn't stay there again

Location is ok. Owner left is a bottle of wine and 4 coffee pods.

So much dust and dirt and a smell like unwashed bodies. The stairs are terrible - we expected stairs but when carrying a suitcase these seemed dangerous. And we couldn't get the washing machine to dry clothes.

The stairs!!! I hadn't noticed this in the details but they're very steep and narrow and we had issues carrying bags up the three flights - plus one daughter has epilepsy and I have problems with lung capacity post-covid. Of course it's not the fault of the owner, but definitely worth noting for others. I wouldn't consider the flat great for young children.

Nothing.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. I travelled with my husband and a couple of friends. We entered this place, which was filthy. I stepped on something on the floor and cut my foot. That’s how dirty the floor was. After using the bathroom for the first time the flush button fell off and the toilet almost flooded. Mold in the shower. You had to clean every single thing in the kitchen before you can use anything. Very loud. No airconditioning. Bed hurt my back.

horrible séjour

Pire séjour et manque de considération total de la part de l’hôte.   La chasse d’eau ne fonctionnait pas, à notre arrivée un seau d’eau posé à coté des toilettes et la propriétaire ne nous a même pas prévenu avant notre arrivée. En 3 jours, elle n’a trouvé aucun solution pour régler ce problème. C’est aberrant, surtout au prix de la location, ne pas pouvoir tirer la chasse d’eau et ne rien proposer comme solution est juste inacceptable.   Les lits superposés sont d’un confort inexistant, les matelas sont si fins que c’est comme si nous dormions sur la planche en bois. Ils ne sont pas du tout adapté pour des adultes et pour des enfants non plus puisque les adultes ayant dormi dedans sont très légers.  Dans les 3 lits, nous sentions un creux, soit ils sont de très mauvaise qualité, soit ils sont très vieux. Nous avons suspectés des punaises de lits et la propriétaire n’est jamais passé pour constater cela, et son manque de professionnalisme et d’empathie a été très choquant. DROIT DE RÉPONSE : Nous ne vous avons jamais menacé de commentaire négatif, vous avez proposé d'annuler le séjour sans aucune autre solution, comment aurions nous fait en dernière minute pour trouver un hébergement pour le weekend ? Nous n'avions pas le choix. Rapport officiel dont nous n'avons jamais vu la couleur. Des punaises de lits, il y en a certainement eu un moment dans cet appartement au vu de ce que nous avons trouvé. Effectivement très mauvaise expérience et nous sommes Supervoyageur depuis 10 ans. Superhôte ne veut pas dire que vous êtes infaillible.

Appartement agréable et très bien situé. Ménage à revoir.

L'appartement est idéalement situé, près du Vieux Port, du Mucem et du quartier du Panier. Il est grand et globalement bien agencé.

L'accès au 3eme étage par un escalier très étroit. Le ménage qui ne doit pas être fait avec de bons produits. Tout était très collant, sol, mobilier, vaisselle avec une odeur pas très agréable. C'est dommage !

Sehr schickes Apartment in Top-Lage nahe dem Hafen, direkt am lebendigen Panier-Viertel mit vielen Restaurants, Street Art und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Blick auf Notre-Dame ist fantastisch, und die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt – auch dank des netten Kontakts zur Vermieterin, die schnell und hilfsbereit reagiert hat. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Tolles Quartier für Stadturlaub in Marseille

Sehr gutes Lage für touristische Zwecke, toller Blick auf den Hafen. ÖPNV gut erreichbar. Alltagsbesorgungen (Apotheke, Bäcker usw.) gut möglich. Viertel (noch) authentisch geprägt. Gastronomie, kleine Einkäufe, Imbiss in Laufnähe. Freundlicher Host.

Man sollte wissen, dass das Treppenhaus eng ist ( bei großen Koffern). Wohnung liegt im 3. Stock.

Tolle Wohnung im Panier-Viertel, schicke Einrichtung und sehr schöner Blick in Richtung Hafen. Bushaltestelle genau vor der Haustür. Nicht vom Treppenhaus abschrecken lassen. Das ist nämlich typisch Marseille ;-)
