Centrally located, modern, convenient

The apartment is very centrally located and above a supermarket which makes it very handy! It was quiet and very clean. The communication with the host was very good, although we never saw anyone.

I wasn't aware that we wouldn't have cleaning service, which meant no clean towels, no change of bedding and no washing liquid and sponge to wash the dishes. It would have been nice if this was clearer upon booking and if in the welcome kit there would be basic things like a sponge and washing liquid for dishes or olive oil and salt and pepper to make food. Since this is not a hotel room but an apartment.

Amazing central location, great views, good size for a family of 4

Two points can be improved. 1. the cleanliness should be a bit better specifically more thorough hoovering as floor space seemed dusty and the shower needs a deeper clean 2. Very few amenities to clean with after using kitchen. It would not take much to provide some washing up liquid for example.

Location location location and size of apartment was amazing. Brand new apt and comfortable bedding.

Absolute fabulous stay loved everything about my stay. the only small issue was only one lounge to sit on so could do with another one for comfort and aesthetics. Otherwise location is perfect for Bologna.

Fantastic location … central and walking distance to everything… great response from the hosts .. we needed an extra blanket & they brought it to us straight away .. nothing was too much bother

Good value for money

Location around 30 mins walking from the main train station (Bologna Centrale). The apartment was on the 3rd floor, accessible by lift, so it was easy get there with our luggage. It was clean, comfortable and with all amenities.

Family trip to Bologna.

Very central, easy walk to the main piazza. The apartment was very clean, exactly at pictured.

The bed was very hard. The shower screen needs to be repaired.

Disappointing

Location

You stayed in Bologna during the last week of October. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for two out of three days, and the shower water was barely warm. Despite reporting the issue to the staff, nothing was done.

Great location and great facilities.

The location is excellent! The property is located in the center less than 8 minuts walk to Piazza Maggiore, however very quiet at night.The collection of the key via code was very easy and we had access to the property much earlier that the check in time. The apartement was big enought fro the 3 of us and the bathroom was really nice with a large walk in shower. The coffe capsules very really appreciated!

The matterass in the bedroom was a bit too hard for me. Would have been nice to have a spunge and a dish soap in the Kitchen.

Central location

Great central location. Helpful staff

The apartment was rather less luxurious than the price /photos would suggest. Kitchen had no basics (salt/pepper/oil) and not kitchen paper or cleaning products.

Very disappointing and would not stay there again

Location

Shower didn’t work properly as diverter button was jammed. Complained to manager and this was fixed with a message from him explaining the diverter button and what it was used for as though there was no problem and we couldn’t work the shower. Next day we had no hot water at all. Complained to the manager and he got back to us saying that the whole building had a problem with the hot water. No further message from the manager until we complained again late that afternoon and said what was happening with the hot water. Manager sent someone over to check the hot water and they said yes the water was only lukewarm. Later the manager said that the water was fixed and it should get hot shortly. It was hot around 8/9pm that night. The reviewers who had issues with the property are all valid and accurate. Eg no dishcloth, dish detergent, minimal toilet paper, minimal product for the bathroom, extremely uncomfortable bed (we think the worse we have had in 40 years of travel) , uncomfortable lounge, no shelf in shower, shelf over vanity basin too wide so you bang your head every time you use the basin. The reviews that have been posted have all been answered by the manager and he/she has said thank you for your review we will look into these issues as we want our guests to have a good experience. In the apartment we were staying in none of these issues had been addressed. Except for one and was the complaint about not enough pillows. We had 2 extra pillows but unfortunately they didn’t have pillowcases. We would never stay here again nor could we recommend these apartments as we feel that the manager/owner is paying lip service to customer needs and makes excuses, deflects and takes no responsibility for issues arising from the apartments.

Good location, clean and comfortable

Good location, close to the main pizza and all shops and restaurants. Easy bus from the train. Elevator was appreciated . The apartment was clean and was good for a short stay .

While not an airbnb would still expect a dishcloth or some detergent . A tea towel provided and that’s all . For a short stay we were not going to go out any buy those necessities

Modern and clean in an old building near to the centre. Bars and restaurants only a few minutes away. Lovely space even though we didn’t spend much time in the apartment.

Bologna is a wonderful Italian city and the apartments are perfectly situated to explore everything it has to offer.

Smart trendy apartment right in the centre. Very secure. Quiet at night. Fantastic supermarket just below although if you have a weakness for the Pasticeria, look out! Bars, cafes and truly amazing restaurants in easy walking distance. All the main galleries museums and historic sites right there on your doorstep.

The Ugo Bassi Apartment business model is a Covid Lockdown model. If the staff are human and not bots they will soon be replaced by bots. We didn’t see a soul. I know many people are happy with or oblivious to this way of working but personally, if I’m on holiday, I don’t like the digital compliance vibe to getting the keys and doing my own admin for the tourist tax.

The location is excellent , just 5 minute walk from the city center and it is located next to the market. Extremely quiet, even though it was located on a busy street

Worth the money and I would stay here again.

It’s clean, spacious, the kitchen and dining area are well prepared for cooking and eating. The location is perfect with the grocery store immediately outside the building and just a minute walk the other way is the Mercato delle Erbe for fresh fruits and vegetables. A 10 minute walk away is Neptune’s Fountain and the train station is a safe casual 15 minute walk.

Fantastic apartments and location!

Fantastic location and each of the 3 apartments we had were clean and had great facilities. Communication prior and during our stay was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use the apartments again!

Friendly service, excellent location, we would definitely come again.

We could definitely come again. Accommodation in a great location. We chose the Duomo apartment with a pleasant view of the old town street. The accommodation is as described, close to shops and services. Breakfast supplies were picked up in local shops. In the evening we ate in various restaurants, of which there are many in Bologna. There is a real variety of options in the alleys. Communication was easy and smooth, either via the booking app or directly via Watsapp. Handing over the keys was also easy, in a self-check in type of way, the instructions were clear. If you arrive or leave without getting your bags in, there is a self-service storage area for your luggage at the "next door", maybe 50 meters from the accommodation. On weekdays, you could get your bags in their office during opening hours for a couple of hours.

Shower should have a level on which to put shower shampoos, etc. There could also be hooks for towels outside the shower. There are lots of pictures, all of which you can't necessarily tell which is of the courtyard view and which of the city view. It's worth looking carefully, and you can always ask your host if it matters.

A really great, modern apartment, which couldn't be more central, with great hosts.

We knew it had a central location but not how really well located it is, as it's on a main shopping street and only 500m to the two towers and main square. Top patisseries, ice cream parlours and a fresh food market are a few yards away. there aree cafes, bars and restaurants all around. It's a modern office/apartment building with nice finishes, good lifts and all areas are really clean and well kept. It's quiet at night but there is street noise thanks to the canyon effect, albeit on the 5th floor. The apartment door is highly secure. The apartment interior has good fittings and finishes with modern bathroom, kitchen and appliances. It has a Co-op underneath it, so really handy for self catering. Our hosts were really helpful, with great directions and always available on a group WhatsApp chatline if you need to know anything.

The only downside was the sofa. It's a sofa-bed so it's firm, but the leatherette covering is wearing off and it's deep so bad for posture. I had pillows from the bed to avoid backache. Maybe okay for a night but wearing if you're there all week. Also, a coffee table would have been a nice addition, avoid having to put glasses and cups on the floor when sitting in the lounge.

Great apartment in central location in beautiful Bologna!

We stayed in Giardini apartment on the second floor. Clean and spacious, it had everything we needed. Excellent location in central Bologna with lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. Only a 15-minute walk to the train station.

The bedroom pillows need to be replaced as soon as possible! Also, a shelf in the shower recess would be helpful, nowhere to put shampoo, body wash etc except on the floor.

Great apartment in the heart of Bologna

Great location, easy to get to all main areas of Bologna. Loads to bars / restaurants nearby as well as main historic squares. Really clean apartment that felt very secure. Hosts were really clear with instructions and were available via WhatsApp if we needed anything.

Not much natural light, there are big windows and potentially a balcony but the doors were locked with no key and shutters down. Balcony wasn’t advertised so it wasn’t a negative as we weren’t expecting it, but sometimes nice to let some natural light in.

A little tired needs some TLC

The location was excellent and staff were very helpful.

The bed was not comfortable at all. There was no dish washing detergent and the sponge that was left in the kitchen was filthy.

Great option for longer stay

Excellent location to main tourist sites; great bars, cafes and restaurants very nearby. Spacious room and very helpful to have washer. Very well insulated windows effective for preventing street noise.

Though modern, fairly sterile and good feeling. Kitchen could use a “starter set” of basics like paper towels, dishwashing solution, and sponge.
