Very much a hostel so bring your own sheet and towels!!

Wonderful setting, easy parking, lovely grounds.

Surprised once booked, by their 5pm checkin deadline, not good when you’re on a ferry and still need to make the drive. Luckily turned out ok. No top sheets for beds, offered bottom sheets from other hostel beds. Bathrooms shared but downstairs so inconvenient for nocturnal mictriation! At 90 eur it was way over priced for a hostel with 3 singles, shared bathroom, no towels..

Glad I was able to revisit my past with such wonderful people.

I’d stayed here in 1969 and it’s changed a bit in the past 50 years. :) I got to talk with the staff and they recorded some of the photos and Youth Hostel Passport I’d brought with me. Unfortunately the pages from the first half of 1969 were missing.

Great location. Rich in history dating back to the 1500s.

Great picturesque location in centre of Montreuil

Had to wait an hour for staff member to show up to check us in. Toilets covered in muddy water. Other guests decided to have a party in communal room adjoining our bedroom til 1am.

Very easy check in, amazing location right in the middle of town. Free and straightforward parking. Very pretty building. Very cheap.

Super accueil et site magnifique nous avons très apprécié ce séjour

La citadelle est à un emplacement idéal, proche centre ville (à pied) et superbe environnement. Beaucoup d'hébergements groupes et individuels. Très belle expérience nous étions 13 toutes générations confondues et les grands dortoirs nous ont rappelé les colonie de vacances. Les cuisines bien équipées.

manque de possibilité de rangement des vêtements dans les chambres et surtout manque de porte-manteaux. Dommage les parquets grinces et les murs peux isolants, mais c'est une auberge de jeunesse super bien.

Les extérieurs

Le manque de respect des gens qui sont rentrés très tard dans la grande chambre et qui ont fait un bordel sans nom. Le prix est très excessif 87 euros pour 1 adulte 2 enfants ni wi-fi ni télé ni salle de bains ni wc dans la chambre pour le même prix il vaut mieux aller en hôtel car ses prestations sont comprises et même souvent avec petit déjeuner

à refaire c’était super

très bien situé dans un lieu vraiment très joli. le rapport qualité est très bien et les lit sont confortables. les lieux de vies communes sont bien équipés

pas d’évacuation pour chaque douche donc l’eau va dans le couloir ce n’est pas très pratique mais ce n’est qu’un détail. nous avions privatiser le dortoir malheureusement deux chambres sont accessibles uniquement par celui ci ce n’est pas très agréable. peut être prévoir un rideau pour séparer et plus d’intimité
