Das Haus ist liebevoll renoviert und liegt am Dorfrand. Den ganzen Tag über hört man Vogelgezwitscher. Die Terrasse ist groß und hat einen wunderbaren Blick über die Berge und auf den Wasserfall Frecha de Mizarella. Wenn es zu heiß oder zu kühl ist, kann man im überdachten Anbau essen. Auch wenn die Lage für die Städte etwas abgelegen ist, fanden wir sie trotzdem günstig. Man erreicht Porto, Aveiro und das Meer in ca einer Stunde, Viseu ist etwas weiter. Felsgravuren aus der Bronzezeit sind zufuß in 20 Minuten vom Haus gut beschildert erreichbar. Viele Wasserfälle und Flussbadestellen sind in 15 bis 20 Minuten erreichbar. Das Naturschutzgebiet Arouca ist ca 40 min entfernt. Der nächste richtige Supermarkt ist in Valle de Cambra, ca 15 min entfernt, im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Dorfladen. Bei allen täglichen Fragen, war immer jemand für uns da, um uns weiterzuhelfen. Einmal haben wir frischen Kuchen bekommen, einmal Salat, frisch aus dem Garten.
Für 2 Erwachsene mit drei Kindern war der Schlafplatz etwas knapp - aber das war uns schon bei der Buchung bewusst
