Casa Ramalheira em Luso - Bussaco

This property is exactly as described. For my friend and I it exceeded our expectations, yet was everything we'd hope it would be. Sara, the owner, is a very thoughtful, considerate and friendly person, I wish more people were like her.The property is very well presented and is clean, tidy and well kept. For those who this is important to, it smells clean throughout. I can see why this property has such high ratings and was the primary reason for us choosing the location. Luso is an amazing small town with quite a lot to do and see locally. Its real beauty is found when you wander through the small streets and up and down the hills. The architecture of the grand houses in and around Luso is simply breathtaking, whether they are abandoned properties or those being restored they are remarkable and a tribute to how important Luso was many years ago. I could go on and on about how beautiful the town is. I will be returning to Luso.The house that you will be stopping is is more than just a rental property, its a home where generations of people grew up and played as young chidren on that magnificent staircase and who then watched their children grow up to do the same. The feeling from this property is one of peace, kindness and love, where children grew into adults and watched theirs do the same. Sara has kept that feeling alive in this, her families property and you will feel that the moment you spend your first day there. I can't speak highly enough about this home and Luso.

Close to Coimbra not far from Porto, Luso has a lot of charm with a beautiful forest on the doorstep. The accomodation is perfect, and the host is helpful and available if anything at all is needed. Great way to discover Central Portugal!
