Verride Palácio Santa Catarina

I’ve traveled a lot and I believe Verride was at least on my top 3 hotels in life. The room is absolutely amazing, wide space, with great assortment of pillows and very comfortable bed. The breakfast is unbelievable, with a unique concept of 5 step menu chosen by the chef everyday. Staff is really kind and helpful at all times. The location and hotel facilities in general were great but it is hard to want to leave your room.

I missed a gym, but I have been told they have plans to build one in the future. The shower box does not contain the water properly so it splashed to the bathroom but it’s promptly cleaned by staff everyday.

Beautiful property staff was wonderful

The air conditioning was either broken or it was not turned on yet for the season. Our room was incredibly warm. The staff was very nice and brought us a fan. But they really should have comped us wine or discounted the room. Our they should post in their description that air conditioning only is available in certain months. We went in March and in Lisbon you can have warm days. I also came by car and it was incredibly difficult to find the street. They really need better direction on how to find the hotel. However the staff was incredibly nice. Breakfast was good but it was a tasting menu and you need to plan for it … it could take an hour. Otherwise nicely decorated and they had a steam shower that was nice

The hotel is located in an old palace which has been renovated and repurposed accordingly. The room was impeccable and the views from the rooftop bar are spectacular.

I wish it was a bit more affordable, but the service, room size and comfort and the views were worth the expense.

The staff were excellent and the breakfast wonderful. Location great. We stayed in the Apartment 55… beautiful decorated. The associated restaurant SUBA is extra ordinary and world class.

The apartment 55 has a beautiful bathroom with marble and a jacuzzi - HOWEVER, it didn’t work and the water ran tepid by the time it was full. Also, the apartment wasn’t fully equipped with basics such as a bottle opener, water drinking glasses, tea towels. When I alerted the wonderful staff they did bring these items. But the jacuzzi not working and not being fixed during our stay was a huge disappointment. I mentioned it again as I left & got an apology and why have just offered me a 30% discount for me if I stay again. But in truth I won’t be staying again so the 30% is redundant.
