Very relaxing

Loved the quite and peacefull vibe in and around the place.

There was not much to do on park or around park very isolated out the way from the town. Had to drive 10 mins along for close by shops co op ect.. we thought there was more for the dogs grassy areas but had to drive along to Perth for a bigger grassy area.

Most relaxing get away it was just amazing

It was just perfect couldn’t believe how well equipped it was ,plenty of places to sit out and take in the views . Shirley’s and Laura are really lovely and always around to help and they gave us great advice on walks and places to go with our wee lurcher Suzi. complimentary bottle of Prosecco and milk was a lovely touch.

Perfect get away peace n tranquility

Absolutely what we all needed relaxing, cosy and the books / games on offer was amazing my daughter loved all the books as she’s a Waterstones girl , the outdoor reading area was the best for her 💯 As a family Hunter our lab included shall definitely return Shirley one of the owners was extremely knowledgeable about the area , she is a lovely lady Thank you for our stay xx

Great wee find! So peaceful and relaxing!

Lovely lodge in a great position beside the river. We sat at the decking/in the summer house just listening to the water and the birds! It was so peaceful and relaxing which was much needed. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need and having sky/Netflix was a bonus too! We liked the personal touch with Laura coming to greet us on arrival, along with a bottle of Prosecco which went down a treat! We will definitely be back!!

Fantastic few days away

Fantastic place, so clean and comfortable, the fact they allowed dogs made our break away complete. Hosts really nice and kind Accommodation spot on, was 9k everything thing and more. Park very quite, awoken with bird song which was beautiful to hear.. Great dog walks, and location was brilliant , not too far for touring about Will definitely be back.a gem of a place.

It's true, you arrive as guests and leave as friends!!!

Lots. Cleanliness is another level. Places to sit around the lodge eg patio, front door and the lovely Summer house. My daughter enjoyed the contained 2 bed twin with WC. Lovely living room, bedrooms, kitchen, etc. A very peaceful holiday with lovely hosts!!

Bear lodge is in a lovely location for experiencing the natural beauty of the local area. Auchterader is an easy walk and has a good selection of restaurants, shops and bars. There are some great little towns and places of interest nearby too!

Laura was very kind and welcoming. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and with everything you could need. The summerhouse was a lovely place to sit and relax. Great location and very peaceful.

Everything was perfect.

We found it hard to wash up with a cloth especially pans, there could be some sponges with rough backs. Also could have some washing up gloves for people with sensitive skin.

Everything was perfect. This lodge is cosy, comfortable and great value. We have stayed in various lodges that charge a lot more and provide a lot less. Thank you for the prosecco and the milk. Will definitely book again.

Perfect

Bear Lodge is one of the best self catering places I have ever stayed. Shirley and Laura go over and above to provide guests with everything they could possible want/need. The complimentary bottle of prosecco and pint of milk on arrival was a pleasant surprise. The place was spotlessly clean, beds were super comfortable, both rooms were ensuite and all towels, toiletries etc. were provided, there was also free WiFi and Sky TV. The little summer house was really cosy, a great place to sit and read a book or just relax and listen to the bubbling stream running past. I was there for a running festival and the girls left some bath salts at the door for me on my return from the half marathon, such a thoughtful gesture. I cannot rate bear lodge highly enough and if you are ever staying in auchterarder do yourself a favour and book a lodge with Shirley and Laura - you will not be disappointed.
