Lovely location, very pleasant lodge, hosts very helpful
Showers need a shelf to hold soap & shampoo, etc. En-suite needs a small shelf to hold toiletries

Wonderful secluded location within stunning woodland. Clean comfortable wooden Lodge. Gated entry. The quietness except the sounds of the countryside is wonderful.
The sporadic tv signal and lack of Internet are not ideal.

Loved the location quiet and remote.
Lovely cabin.
Wildlife, deer close up and around garden.

The surroundings were unexpected - a lot more private than we were expecting. We were visiting to attend a cycling event and the roads nearby were incredibly scenic and ideal for a practice before our raise. Nearby walks and nature centre were an added bonus.
I had a couple too many and banged my head on the beams in the upstairs lounge - hard enough to take an average building down, but not this one which is obviously built well.

Absolutely beautiful location, tucked away in the woodland but still close enough to Dunkeld to grab what you need for you’re stay. Plenty to do close by also, great for a young family with a 4 year old.
The lay out and set up, the lodge is simply stunning.

location great, quiet, secluded and great area for walking dogs
gate on the entrance would have been beneficial for folk with dogs so you have the option of using it if you need.

Great lodge, clean, comfy and beautiful location. Very peaceful and hosts helpful (lost trying to find lodge). Enjoyed sitting on balcony listening to wildlife and great walks with the dogs. Would recommend to anyone wanting to switch off and relax.
Internet patchy for teenagers, adults didn't mind.

It was private, quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of space with walks nearby. Stylish and comfortable lodge surrounded by beautiful forests, wildlife and nature. Great for a family with a small child and dog.

Fantastic, cosy lodge in a peaceful location. Superb location for wildlife, Loch of the Lowes on the doorstep, you may even see deer from the kitchen window! Very comfortable beds and great lounge to relax in after your long walks.
Fab surprise to find two full-sized bedrooms, one with a double bed and an en-suite, the other with two single beds. we had expected smaller rooms!
The veranda offers a peaceful place to sit. Note to self - visit again in spring/ summer.
The owner is lovely and will make sure you have all you need.
Further from Dunkeld than we thought, but we adapted. We walked to Dunkeld on one occasion, via the Loch of the Lowes, just over 2 miles, muddy in winter months - stout boots or wellies required. Great walk though! Took a taxi for a special evening out. Advise to book well in advance as only 2 taxi companies.

the location and local wildlife, the cosy upstairs “den /TV nook”
Nothing although it would’ve been nice to turn out the outside lights so we could use the telescope on deck but a short walk down the drive did the trick.

Location, peace and quiet. Lovely walks in grounds and surrounding area. Owner very helpful when we needed doggy day care.
Too many lights outside and couldn't enjoy the lake. Kitchen sink drain couldn't be removed easily.

As clean and comfortable as expected from the photos and reviews. Newly decorated and the lodge had been moved to a new location further away from the house. The kitchen was well equipped with most things that were needed to prepare and eat meals.
We had to ask for toilet roll and the highchair we had requested, but they were quickly provided. The new location of the lodge came as a surprise and although further away from the main house, the views are not so good. The landscaping was unfinished so we were surrounded by grass seed on churned up soil which I am sure will be lovely once grown. The outside dining area is now too far away from the kitchen, it is a bit of a hassle to carry things out to the back end of the lodge, but still a nice area to eat. The wi-fi that was advertised as available at the time we booked and stayed did not work, due to the lodge’s new location. This is no longer advertised on the property details so anyone staying now should expect to enjoy a ‘digital detox’ as there is on mobile internet signal in the area.
