Swahita Ubud

From start to finish the staff were excellent. Friendly smiley and helpful. Breakfast was decent enough. Nice little place to stay. Being small, the staff get to know your name which makes it that bit more welcoming. Decent sized rooms with a balcony and the pool is a refreshing place to spend a bit of time unwinding. 10-15 minutes walk to central Ubud and plenty of eateries within walking distance.

The accommodation is old and need definitely renovation . They have to improve the cleaning of the rooms .

The staff are lovely, friendly, and very communicative. Whenever you need something, they are always ready to help. I had an issue with a SIM card I bought at the airport, and they kindly assisted me. I travelled with my parents (over 70 years old, Spanish speakers only) and two kids under 5. The staff supported my parents at all times and were warm and friendly with my children, creating a welcoming and safe environment for them. The location is great. Two blocks from the hotel, there is a temple where the Kecak dance is performed, and it’s about a 16‑minute walk to Ubud Palace. There are several other temples nearby, as well as good restaurants. Breakfast is excellent; I especially loved their smoothie and pancake version and the fried rice.

The swimming pool towels are quite worn and may need replacement. The entrance route is not in the best condition. I understand there are other businesses around, so I recommend working together to improve that area.
