The host was very accommodating and let us check in early and met us at the apartment. He also let us leave out luggage to collect later on day of departure. It is a cosy study flat/room with separate bathroom and small but functional kitchen. A good location in Berlin.
the suitcase stand was broken and maybe provide 2 of these.

The apartment was well equipped and quite spacious. The transport to get around town was literally a UBann just outside the door and tram stops a two minute walk going to anywhere you wanted. There was a supermarket within a few minutes walk. The landlady provided an air-cooled as we visited during a heatwave which cooled the room adequately for sleeping.
The stairs to the apartment were a bit steep bit manageable. Should indicate on the add that the stairs were steep.
The landlady did not speak english and was quite abrupt when we attempted to use a translator. Otherwise quite helpful.

Spacious apartment, convenient to the metro and tram and the bed was reasonable though two single beds put together.
Horribly squeaky floors, no lounge as pictured, just a fridge no freezer, no coffee/milk/sugar etc and right on a main road under construction which was very noisy, really crappy wifi and very steep stairs

Very clean and quiet. Lovely to have the courtyard garden to sit in. Adjacent to U6 which was great.
we were there during the May heatwave and it was very hot at night even with all windows open. Perhaps a few fans to climate proof it a bit
