Friendly, attentive staff. We were very well looked after. Comfortable spacious room. Good breakfast choice. Private car park a God send!
Only observation would be that on returning to the hotel just before 22:15 after attending a family funeral, ‘time at the bar’ had been called as it had been a quiet night. I get that. We did manage to sneak a quick one in though!

Room was passable, although a fridge under the desk made it impossible to use the space as a desk.
Dinner was highly disappointing. The steak I ordered was neither fresh, nor of good quality. It was inedible. No concern shown by server when I raised my dissatisfaction; I even had to request that it was taken off the bill, rather than this being recognised or offered automatically.
