Staff were great could not be more helpful, food for dinner and breakfast was brilliant and off street parking at rear of hotel.
Windows in room 8 we stayed in could do with attention one was a little loose and seals were letting moisture in, other than that was really good.

Very conveniently positioned in the town. The staff were particularly pleasant & helpful. Very comfortable bed. Bedroom had a small fridge & an efficient fan.
Only that finding the access to the car park was a bit of a trial! But the young man on evening/night reception/bar/hotel duties was particularly helpful. He went beyond the call of duty at locking up time, to ensure I was able to collect my car from street parking, find the car park entrance and was safely returned to the hotel before he left to go home.

Great location although tricky to find car park as the post code provided didn't take us to the right road. Room great, bathroom a little tired. WC seat wasn't secured so a lot of movement and very noisy. Otherwise great value for the money!

Room was passable, although a fridge under the desk made it impossible to use the space as a desk.
Dinner was highly disappointing. The steak I ordered was neither fresh, nor of good quality. It was inedible. No concern shown by server when I raised my dissatisfaction; I even had to request that it was taken off the bill, rather than this being recognised or offered automatically.
