Stelios welcomed us very friendly and kept an open and transparent communication with me. He greet us with a nice lemon pie and couple of bottles of water which was unexpected. Also, he gave us a bottle of extra-virgin olive oil produced by his family which was delicious.
He informed us about places to visit, restaurants, beaches, when and how take the best out of the experience.
Stelios is really friendly. His place is excelent maintained, very clean and he informed us up-front when cleaning lady was planning to come. His kitchen is very well equipped, from french press to all basically anything you need.
Some could say that the pool is too small, which is true if you are a professional swimmer aiming to do your morning laps precisely. But be aware of surroundings, there are archeological artefacts, which means the more you dig, the more you discover, the more you discover the less you can dig. In other words, just enjoy the pool you have and enjoy the swim in the beautiful sea. Just my thoughts!

Stelios was a great host, he came round quickly when we asked for extra towels and he was always friendly and polite. The villa itself was lovely and clean and the pool was cleaned every evening. The area is nice and quiet (apart from the odd cockerel in the morning!) and the villa felt very secure

Very good starting point to discover West Crete's magnificent beaches. The house was extremely comfortable and clean, nicely renovated. If you want to stay in Kissamos, Maria beach is a good option.

We have just returned from Crete. We had the great pleasure to spend our holidays in the villa Despina of Stelios. There can't be a more beautiful accommodation. the photos don't lie, it's even more beautiful in truth. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was decorated with a lot of love. The hospitality was unique, we were guided around and even accompanied to the supermarket we also received cakes, wine and oil. the cleaning lady comes every 4 days and does an excellent job. Kissamos itself is still rather untouristic and this we particularly liked. Everyone is super friendly there are enough shops, tavern and also a car can be borrowed. A great beach (Maria Beach) is only 10 minutes walk away.
This is a place we will gladly return to :)
