Lovely Villa, Amazing Owner.

Excellent location to explore Western Crete. Spacious rooms, large pool all immaculately kept. Kostas (the owner of the villa) is the best holiday rental owner we have encountered. Extremely generous, kind, pleasant, and available to answer any questions when needed. He is also not overbearing and always asked permission to pop over and clean the pool etc. However, he never once entered the villa while we were staying there. He was a pleasure to deal with and we hope to stay in this villa again one day.

Nothing short of paradise

Its even more then we could expect. Yes you can prepare yourself a little judging on the photo's. But its the vibe that makes it a stay to remember. With just a small turn from an intersection you turn into a wood of olive trees and there it is: Petronila Villa. Surrounded by just the trees and amazing view all around. But within just several minutes you have any supermarket, restaurant etc within reach. Even the beach is no more than 10 minutes driving distance. The welcoming from the owners is very kind and personal. We were welcomed with a very clean house and even some food! The house has literally everything to enjoy your stay without having to think. Towels, good beds, sunbeds, outside fridge, dishwasher.. its all there if you need. The pools was cleaned regurarly and the house was even cleaned midway during our stay with fresh beds and towels. I can go on for a while but in short: its everything you can possibly need from a vacation house. The house, location and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Petronila villa is perfection!

Petronila Villa is perfect! We were 9 altogether, 6 adults and 3 children and the villa was so comfortable and spacious for us all. We were influenced to book this villa by the superb reviews and it certainly did not disappoint. The villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped. There was ample crockery in the house and in the outside kitchen too, where we particularly enjoyed eating. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for indoors as well as for the beach and the pol. The pool area is beautifully clean and well maintained, with plenty of beds and sun and shade as desired. The pool is a good size and it was hard to get the children out to explore the beaches! The villa is in a peaceful location, secluded and private, but not remote. It is surrounded by olive groves . There are views from each balcony and picture perfect views of the mountains from the lounge windows. It’s a really quick few minutes drive to Kissamos and took about 13 minutes to walk. Special mention has to be made of the host, Kostas. When we arrived we found plenty of provisions to start our holiday so no need to rush to the supermarket. The cupboards and fridge were stocked and he had kindly thought of items the children would like as well as the adults, The honey was amazing! Kostas also kindly gave us some olive oil to bring home and on our last morning provisions for the journey which we certainly appreciated. Kostas was very attentive and swift to answer messages but never intrusive. We all would highly recommend this lovely villa. ❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Petronila Luxury villa! The hosts Kostas and his family were incredibly polite, kind, and welcoming – they truly made us feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious cretan homemade food they prepared for us, which added such a special, personal touch to the experience. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained – everything was tidy, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended, and we would love to return!

Great holiday in a lovely villa with fabulous host.

Spacious and well equipped villa nestled in a quiet olive grove. Good sized pool and garden with the addition of a large pool house for outside dining. Our host Kostas, together with his family made us feel very welcome and was available to help or answer any questions. Cannot recommend highly enough.

dream stay in the best villa with the best owner

Kostas is the best host ever! he welcomed us with a fully loaded fridge and he was always ready to help with anything. on the last day we received lovely cheese pie fresh from the oven. the villa is spacious, very comfortable even for 9 people. beds are really good, kitchen fully equipped, a very nice bbq building next to the wonderful pool with everything you need to prepare your own dinner. I would give >10 points to bring his average rating to 10, he deserves it! the pool area is first class, it is difficult to leave for the wonderful beaches of the area. and to top it off it is in the middle of an olive grove. unbeatable

beautiful villa, great for small groups

amazing villa, lovely pool, nice area, walkable distance to kissamos but you probably want a car to go anywhere else. kostas was lovely, filling the fridge with essentials such as eggs and fruit and was really helpful whenever I messaged (couldn’t get hot water to work but was a simple fix) would recommend this villa to anyone

only thing I would suggest is a bit of an information pack in the villa, to state things like the wifi password in case people forget and advice on which local restaurants are good :)

What can I say. This is going to be a long list. Kostas was a fabulous host. He took the legendary Cretan hospitality to a whole new level. He met me on arrival along with his daughter (who spoke even better English) and went through everything with the villa. The fridge was stocked with food and drinks (including wine and beer) and food parcels were dropped off and left on the gate throughout my stay (what a lovely touch). The villa was fantastic, even in December. I stayed 13 nights and had to put the heating on (which worked great) and the villa is well equipped. There's space for one car under the porch canopy and one space opposite in the paddock. The is an electric gate which closes to keep your car safe but honestly, this villa is in the middle of an olive grove paddock and is on its own and it totally private and has excellent views of the sea in the distance. The WIFI is great. No issues with it whatsoever (thankfully as I had to work while I stayed there editing photos etc). The pool look stunning but I did not have it heated (an extra 50 EUR a day) so I never used it but it looks great plus there's a small glass building in the garden for family gatherings including a BBQ, heating, a large table and chairs etc. Looks great. This is a gorgeous villa and I look forward to staying there again in the future. Thanks to Kostas and his family for being such great hosts (and prompt communication too with him).

Apartment was very clean and as great as in the pictures. Everything was perfect! The owner Kostas was extremely helpful and polite. We even got welcome basket and takeaway breakfast when we left.

Perfect holiday near nice beaches and great villa

The beds are really comfortable, the is airconditioning in every room, two bathrooms and nice marble on the floor (with a nice fireplace for the winter). And than there is the great swimming pool, sun-beds and a outdoor dinning-area with a BBQ (gas) to enjoy in the evening.

Perfect place for a comfortable vacation.

Kostas is the best host I ever had the pleasure to meet! When we arrived late on Saturday evening, Kostas greeted us in front of the house to give a tour of the house. He provided us with fresh fruit, drinks and even toasts and cheese to make sandwiches. The house was very clean and in a very good condition. All the rooms are climatized and the house is fully equipped with anything you could need during your stay. The pool area offers an area with shadows, which allows you to enjoy the pool the entire day, even if you prefer to stay in the sun. The outdoor area offers a separate kitchen and a BBQ. The location is a bit drawn back from the small city Kissamos, we mostly took the car to drive to a restaurant or to go grocery shopping. If you like to walk, the house is a nice 15min walk away from the city. Kostas provided us with information on sightseeing and was always available for any request or questions that we had. I stayed with my family there and have to say it was one of the most pleasant experiences I had when it comes to renting a place. We were sad to leave after a week and plan to come back!

Perfect villa, luxurious, relaxing and tranquil

The villa is a short distance from Kissamos where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. It is nestled amongst olive groves and has incredible views of the mountains and ocean. The host was incredibly welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and the kitchen was stocked with drinks, food, fruit and everything we needed to start our holiday straight away. All the bathrooms had soap and all amenities and all rooms had lots of towels, even separate towels for the pool were provided. The beds were really comfortable and all rooms came with spare pillows. The pool and garden area were stunning and a perfect place to spend an afternoon / evening. There was also a great working space and fast wifi - so the house would be great as a working spot. We felt so welcome, the host even brought homemade Greek pies for us to try. We would absolutely recommend this villa for a family or group and will be booking again.

Kostas is an amazing host! Always helpful, always kind! Providing us with fresh eggs and olive oil from his farm, also with fresh homemade bakery from his family and bought us some sweets for our departure. The fridge was well stocked for the first two days. Nice poolhouse for BBQ.

Relaxing holidays

Outdoor area, swimming pool , lots of shade for getting out of the sun. Very private away from the village but close enough to walk there if you wanted to. Kostas and his family are great hosts , anything you need and more is there almost immediately. The fridge was stocked with groceries, wine,beer and water all that is needed to start your holidays.

Dogs barking all night. Earplugs can fix this, so not really a huge problem.

Perfect place for family

This villa was the best experience through all our travelling in Europe. Quiet place, nice view, very comfortable territory which includes pool and perfect barbecue zone, where we were spending all family evenings. Separately I want to say about the owner. He is an extremely good person. He made a lot of presents, filled the fridge with food, worried we to feel comfortable. We are very grateful to him for the warm welcome. It was easy to get to the best beaches on Crete - Falasarna and Balos on rental car. Once we will back!

We have a great time in Petronilla villa - great pool, calm place surrounded by olive trees, nice and comfortable house. The owner Kostas was really hospitable and helpful - gives us a lot of recommendations to visit around the area. Kissamos city near the villa is really nice, you can have dinner in the cozy restaurants near the sea.

Kostas is a very kind and polite owner, he gave us every info that we needed and welcomed us with a fridge full of goods ( some from his own farm nonetheless)! Midweek he even replenished it! It’s been a great time, the villa is kept perfectly and everything works as supposed to, definitely we suggest it to everyone! The villa is near the best beaches in the west (Balos, Elafonissi, Falasarna..) Again, if you need anything ask Kostas he’s the boss! (He fluently speaks english)

Beautiful Villa in Kissamos

This is a beautiful villa surrounded by olive trees and fields. It’s 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Kissamos, where there are plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets. Balos and Elafonisi beach are located approximately an hours drive away but there are also some local beaches within a short distance. This villa stands out from the rest because of Kostas and his wife, the warm welcome, charm and friendliness they exude goes above and beyond. They give you access to their field for fresh fruits and vegetables and also supply organic olive oil. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family because I know that they will be looked after by this great family and this villa has everything they need.

Absolutely amazing Villa. It was perfect. Kostas was great making sure we had everything we needed and recommending local places to visit and good restaurants. We have really enjoyed our stay and feel very relaxed. The Villa was very stylish and practical. We love the extra dining room in the garden with a BBQ. The location was great just a 10min walk into Kissamos. The town itself was quite in October but everything was open. It has been our favourite holiday away and would reccomend staying here. Modern style, views of the sea and mountains, privacy yet conveniant location, very helpful host

Villa mit allem was man braucht, und ein perfekter Gastgeber.

Die Villa liegt in einem Olivenhain und ist dementsprechend ruhig und gleichzeitig nah am Ort Kissamos. Der Gastgeber Kostas sort bestens für seine Gäste. Angefangen von den Lebensmitteln im Kühlschrank, über Tipps für die Umgebung bis hin zu eigenen Produkten (Olivenöl) und kulinarischen Geschenken die außer gewöhnlich gut waren. Die Villa selbst ist bestens ausgestattet - der beheizte Pool lädt auch Ende Oktober zum baden ein. Absolute Empfehlung für jeden der den Westen Kretas erkunden will!

Marvellous Villa in perfect location

Wir haben 5 Tage in dieser Villa verbracht. Es war wunderschön. Der Pool und die Outdoor Hütte haben wir rege genutzt und darin viel Zeit verbracht. Die Gastgeber Kostas und Eleftheria waren so gastfreundlich und haben uns bei der Begrüssung ein wunderbares Welcome Package bereitgestellt. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und jederzeit gut betreut. Kostas è un padrone di casa premuroso e attento. La villa è molto bella e ben tenuta.Piena di ogni comfort e prelibatezze che il proprietario ci ha lasciato al nostro arrivo (e alla partenza!). I suoi consigli sono stati preziosi e ci hanno permesso di vivere e apprezzare ancora di più la nostra vacanza. Ottima anche la posizione per visitare le più belle spiagge di Creta. Merveilleux

Absolument tout. Les photos sont absolument fidèles à l endroit. L espace extérieur est incroyable. Nous y avons passé de supers moments . Chaque chambre dispose de sa clim et le salon aussi. Trois chambre sont rez inférieure et une chambre au rez supérieur. L accueil était sublime. Notre hôte est aux petits soins et très réactif. La chaînes est extrêmement bien équipée et il y a même des consommables: pastilles lave vaisselle et lave linge, éponge, papier alu, café, sel, épices…. Bref, à recommander
