Honkatupa is superb!

Absolutely superb accommodation! A small cottage with everything you need, hidden in an Arctic forest by a lake (with a rowboat at your disposal). You can spend days here without meeting anyone, completely immersed in the beautiful landscape. And above all, an amazing sauna! My philosophy is that life is too short to return to the same places, but this is one of the few I’d gladly come back to again – and my whole family agrees. 😊

Everything was absolutely great. Kaya the wonderful host welcomed us with kindness. The house was amazing. We'll equipped, very clean, had everything we needed. Hitted floors was an amazing bonus! The location is great right by the river. No disturbance. Just perfect.

Location, utilities, fire place next to river, clear instructions and functionality of the villa. Also cool to have a rowing boat included.

All was fine. Sauna was perhaps a bit challenging to warm up, but that is quite typical for electric saunas.

Disappointing

The boat.

It was a very basic house. A little too basic for us. The kitchen area electricity stopped working one hour in the middle of cooking, we needed to improvise. When we talked with the owners they said they'll be back only late at night. We wanted to checkout in the morning and no one was there. We stayed only one night instead of 2 nights and paid the whole booking anyway. In site excursions are super expensive especially for a 5 ppl family. Toilets were outside, bathroom 200 meter, obviously we didn't shower that night.

Besuch in Finnland

Eine tolles Häuschen mit Blick über den Fluss, mitten im Wald. Das Häuschen ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht. Besonders toll ist das Bad und die Sauna, die Toilette ist speziell, aber kein Problem und sehr sauber. Im Häuschen ist ein Stockbett und ein franz. Bett, die sehr bequem sind. In der Umgebung sind tolle Wanderwege im Naturpark, die sehr gut beschrieben und markiert sind.

Esperienza da favola

Lo chalet è immerso nel silenzio, in una posizione strategica sia per raggiungere Inari in mezz'ora sia per andare a camminare nel parco naturale. All'interno è moderno, spazioso, pulito, attrezzato con tutto il necessario. Sulle pareti si possono ammirare le creazioni artistiche della signora che ci ha ospitato. Staff gentilissimo, molto disponibile. Incluse nel prezzo le ciaspole per una passeggiata nel parco vicino. Assolutamente consigliato anche il tour che include la visita alle renne e la presentazione della cultura Sami (si può prenotare direttamente alla reception).
