Lovely and cosy, good value

Owner super helpful. Good location to be out of the main small town but still walkable. Plenty of beds & space for our family of 5 but would be way too small for a group of adults as only one toilet/bathroom. Very very steep stairs not great for young kids or mobility impaired. Fab to have a sauna! We used it lots and enjoyed sitting out in the snow afterwards! Beds averagely comfy - bit soft. Masses of kitchenware - really well equipped and all very clean. We saw the northern lights!! Right over the cabin on our last night - defo get an app to alert you if you stay here.

Fantastic holidays !

We really enjoyed the place, we were a family of 4, so plenty of room. If you are 8, it then begins to be a bit tight (only one small toilet for example). The kitchen is very well furnished, there's plenty of room in the mezzanine to put your stuff, there were sledges, the sauna...and Maria has been always very helpful and quick to answer to all our questions. We'll come back !

Nothing! We didn’t realise until the last day that there was an outside cupboard with extra wood and toboggans but we just bought our own.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment which was all we had expected.

A great little apartment which felt like it was in the countryside but was close enough to be able to walk to restaurants and ski resort. The beds were very comfortable and it was well equipped with everything a family might want. There was a log store with wood provided for the fire and a small sauna.

The apartment would benefit from another toilet as there is only one.

Excellent place and I will recommend to others.

The location is easy to find and walkable distance from the bus stop. The host is great and had recommended good spots for northern light sighting. If you drive, it only takes you around 10 mins to get to the ski resort.

The pots and pants at the apartment can be better as we love to cook ourselves.

Very good

Atmospheric and memorable setting with direct access to nature including reindeer grazing directly outside on one occasion. Really well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for parking. Quiet. Well stocked grocery store about 15 min walk, 1 min by car so can purchase all you need once there rather than having to transport long distance.

The water pressure in the shower was weak. The place features very clever use of space with many beds but most of these are not very private due to open plan and partition style doors. So depends on composition and closeness of your entourage whether this works for you or not.

Superb location, cottage, and host!

The location was perfect, as we were able to reach hiking trails and a swimming spot quite easily! The downtown was also nearby. The cottage itself suited us families quite well, plenty of room and comfort. Maria also had very sweet touches like Rentun Maja coffee, linens, toilet paper. The kitchen was also well equipped and we were able to prepare all of our meals.

Rememberable stay in Saariselkä

We were really satisfied with everything what the apartment could give. It was very good equipped. The sauna was superb. The location was amazing, near to the grocery shop or ski resort. The communication with Maria was easy and she provided us with the all necessary info. We definitely recommend a stay in this facility.

Our room, to the right from the main door, was really tiny and was hard to move there. Otherwise, everything perfect!
