Laavu 13 Original Log Cabin with Sauna - Valkea Homes

Loistava sijainti! Tilaa riittävästi viidelle hengelle ja mökissä kaikki tarpeellinen. Hiihtoladut lähtivät takapihalta ja keskustaan kävelymatka. Hinta-laatu suhde hyvä. Majoittaja vastasi heti viesteihin ja hoiti asiat nopeasti.

Pientä remontin tarvetta ehkäpä. Lämminvesivaraaja aika pieni.

Mooie, rustige locatie midden in het bos en vlakbij het dorp waar een supermarkt en restaurants zijn. De Finse blokhut is sfeervol ingericht met alle dingen die je nodig hebt: oven, filter koffiezetapparaat, genoeg keukengerei etc. De sauna in het huis zelf was ook fijn en warmde snel op. Via booking reageerde de host snel waardoor we bijvoorbeeld extra hout kregen voor de open haard. Ook hadden we vooraf duidelijke en handige informatie gekregen over het huisje van de eigenaar.

Bij aankomst in de avond waren de geboekte bedlinnen en handdoeken niet aanwezig, dit duurde een aantal telefoontjes en uren voordat dit werd gebracht. Ook merkten we dat de normale kachteltjes in het huisje het huis niet goed warm konden krijgen wanneer het buiten tussen de -30 en -40 was waardoor de open haard noodzakelijk was om te gebruiken. Dit vonden wij vanwege de houtrook niet altijd fijn.

The location (6 min from main slopes, even closer to the North slopes) was excellent. The area was peaceful at the end of the road next to the forest. Good access to cross country ski. Plenty of beds but good to know that most of them upstairs with difficult and poorly designed staircase. Kind and very fast service on site by the local maintenance

- Difficult/dangerous access upstairs and coming down you had to bend down to fit - elderly people could not use upstairs at all - Not enough kitchenware, especially glasses, considering the number of beds - Small living area with a small sofa, the space could be furnished smarter - No drying cabinet! Big minus for wet ski clothes etc. - fridge as well as other machines were old (the clothes in the washing machine were left soaking wet and took forever to dry - the linen and high chair we had ordered were not there when we arrived (but were delivered as soon as we called) However the cabin was VERY affordable with only about 130 e per person per week (split between 6 adults)!!!
