We loved this house. It was absolutely wonderful. We will definately be coming back again. The views were magnificent and even the visits from the donkeys and sheep were great. The facilities were above expectations and everything you needed was there.
The facility was excellent. The ONLY downfall is that the road is NOT good for low bearing vehicles, especially the road up to Fig Tree Cottages. On a small note, the dishwasher did not work, but we had enough manual washers!!

We loved the big open deck with a view & braai. The cottage was cosy & comfortable . Loved the wall heaters to take the damp out of the cold air. We loved the big fireplace in the lounge and used it as it was very cold. Travel with my own single electric blanket to warm the bed at night. The kitchen was well equipped & adequate.
Didnt like the bathroom. Due to my sight I found the bathroom a struggle with steep stairs.. Only a bath & no shower. The outdoor shower is fine in summer. Too cold to shower while we were there. An extra blanket for the bed would be nice in winter.
