After the devastating floods and damage to the area 6 weeks ago, we found our hosts amazingly cheerful and positive and helpful. We were there for the festivities in Tulbagh and our accommodation was within easy driving and a pleasure to come back to. We loved the welcome from the dogs and chickens too! And our hostess surprised us with a warm-from-the-oven fresh beautiful loaf of sourdough bread for breakfast one morning! We also enjoyed a free cuppa at her amazing Creative Hub just a short walk (or drive) down the road...
Our room was perfect for my sister and me, but my other sister and cousin in the second room found it a bit dark and there was nowhere to wash cups etc.
