Our family had a wonderful stay at Rooikraal Farm Rondawel accommodation. The setting is peaceful and quiet — exactly what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. The self-catering unit was clean, tidy, and well maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed the calm farm atmosphere.

We have stayed here before albeit in the main farm house. The rondawel is not suitable for more than two adults or very young children. Access to the "loft" bedroom is very awkward, especially for those over seventy years of age. The matrasses are laid on the floor without any bases. There is no lighting upstairs for those who want to read at night.
The "loft" bedroom. The dogs that never stopped barking throughout the entire night. I do recall having barking dogs on our previous visit two years ago as well.
